it truly makes no sense. the only rational argument I can come up with is that the books are actively traded upon by bots/algos that can detect when a buy/sell is made that isn't their own and re-calculate around those moves

/biz/ likes to amass virtual portfolios that tell them they have 6 figures in wealth via various worthless internet coins, except those coins cannot be cashed out in any way because there's nobody who would buy them. /biz/ effectively pays USD to be told the lie that they'll certainly receive the USD if they were to ever cash out, but they can't.

market makers automatically send the market to the opposite direction to get rid to rebalance their books. unless you buy just before a really big move, you must assume the market will move against you in the short term whether you buy or sell.

Best beleif in emotional trading bruv, because you're in one.

Seriously though, you seem like a nice fella. Think to yourself: what is motivating you to make these mistimed trades? Yourself. And that is what you have to get control of, and then you will know when to enter a trade with conviction, and how to not be susceptible to FOMO, which causes you to buy at local tops.

Good luck with your trading journey, and if you need any more advice just hit me up. I'm pretty well known around these parts.

you're right man, that's what I've been saying to myself the past week as well; i've been too emotional doing my trades lately. especially the past few days when there's pump after pump. the FOMO just kicks in since there havent been any gains at all to be honest for me. I'm down ~ 40% right now.
then you make a quick few bucks in a pump, the adrenaline kicks in and you continue to risk it and get rekt.
I will tone it down. thanks for the heads up.

Bro what's your timeframe on those movements. You should hold deep into your investments even if it seems like there is now way out. The move should be
>Enter coin, wait
>coin dumps
>wait
>coin pumps
>exit or divide strategy
Take AGRS for example, good coin that kept crabbing for years until look at that, it did a x10 on december and reached ATH a week ago. You don't dump your investments, you keep them, even more if they have trustworthy devs. You can do it op, i believe in you

I appreciate that man. I started out last december and held until 2 weeks ago. everything I had plummeted bigly. when shit started pumping (except my shit of course) I sold everything except my pepe bag and just started going for pumps, which went pretty well at the start but then my emotions got the best of me, went all in couple of times while FOMO'ing everything and got rekt.

>mistimed trades
nothing to do with mistimed trades it's just how the market works. the market reacts to your orders. everybody here buying or selling even a small amount has an influence on the chart.
