I'm 31 and spent 25 - 31 getting rich. I also got married and had children.

Before I got married, I was a low earner and although I had many women available to me, I wasn't all that interested in hooking up. I'd also traveled quite a bit, but only along the east coast of the United States.

Now I'm 31 and read books about people moving to Hong Kong, Malaysia or even parts of the EU and getting to experience an entirely different world. I regret settling in so early, and not getting to experience everything that the world has to offer. If I hadn't gotten rich, I might be very content in my current scenario - I'm pretty happy too, I don't want to sound like I'm complaining. I think it would be super fun to head over to Thailand and party, hook up and travel around to gain broader perspective. But I know this is a somewhat hollow pursuit now. If I was back in my early or mid-20s though... I'd take full advantage.

That being said, I'd also invest and save *way less* than I did. I'm very comfy now, but probably I'd have enjoyed my life more if I bought that fun car/watch/vacation instead of plump it into the brokerage account. I'm still young enough to enjoy these items but I'd have started sooner. I'm 30 now. I spent most of my 20s after graduating traveling out different states working different jobs. The cost of this was that I always rented so I missed out on homes before they became 400k+ for a shithole. I don't have much experience dating, most of the friends I made in college have faded away due to my distance from them, and now it's a massive uphill struggle to even make acquaintances in the new city I'm in. Going to meetups, social events, etc, people tend to stick to their groups and don't like to converse with strangers for too long. All those memes about 'just touch grass bro lmao' are all bullshit.
