Uranium production is going to pop off in the next several years, the gap between supply and demand continues to grow every year. Nuclear took a big hit in the post-Fukushima years as both Greens and Oil/Gas lobbies took potshots, and alot of the mines closed up or slowed dramatically. Governments and even greentards are figuring out that Nuclear is in fact the answer to enormous amounts of sustainable, reliable, green energy.

no it's "it's really low so if I buy now it probably won't go lower than a few percents at worst". Nothing can predict that the price will go back up, the only thing that's predictable is how low it can go. You don't even need a real upward trend, the bet is on brownian motion but with limited downside.

Refer to her as Osaka. The joke is that she introduces her self by her full name as a transfer student from Osaka and she immediately gets nick named Osaka. Never to be referenced by her real name again.

I recommend the dubbed Azumanga Diaoh anime. It was back when anime had soul and wasn’t cringe like it is now. The death of anime came from “moe” introduced by the anime Lucky Star which was a pathetic attempt to copy Azumanga Diaoh. But Azumanga is the real deal. The ideal form of anime. Had a knack for it. So I took and passed A+ and Network+ (back in the day when said certs were valid for life instead of the bullshit thing now). After the real world came calling I wised up. Realized what I did didn't mater. Doing something without a lot of stress and something that would let me "quit" the soonest did. So I got a state govt job. I don't regret it a bit. Yeah I could've got over into IT once I landed with the state but alas right after I got on they moved most of those jobs to contractor based. So I would've had to quit and forfeit my retirement perks.

If someone's paid in stock options (perhaps conditional on company performance or timing) that allows them to acquire shares at a predetermined price. So a director might have 1,000 shares, exercise 1 call (worth 100 shares) by paying some amount, and end up with 1,100 shares.

But that is technically a kind of payment so he can set aside 15 or 30 or however many shares he needs to to cover the resulting tax bill.

Another thing to consider is that executive options can also be awarded depending on performance. There are also warrants, which are like options, but are dilutive in nature (eg, which exercised will actually create new shares). Stock splits are also interesting in this context because it fucks with the fundamental ratios, like EPS. Corporate action could do a split to make the stock look nice, only for the csuite to get a fat kickback because the books look better

The code "M" rows are those "100 shares being bough" (that's why they have an "A" after the share count). The code "F" rows are the "15 or 30" shares being set aside for taxes; so they're not really sales per se.

CPI came in at like 0.4% for a single month, which is insane. But it proves Powell right that inflation isn't dead yet and it's way too soon to be cutting rates.

Naturally real estate and regional banks took a long walk off a short pier.

I'm expecting to see a massive amount of insider selling soon. SMCI pays really really REALLY poorly and the benefits are also equally as bad. I can see a lot of people liquidating their free 2000% pumped shares and retiring off this. I know I would.

Holy shit really? Everything I read portrayed them as a joint run by, of, and for engineers. Is it more of a gigantic sweat shop then?

I for one believe that with the existence of weekly to daily options, the contract specifications for US stock options should be switched to European style exercise. Which basically means contracts can only be exercised on the day of expiration.

Where have you been the past 5 years? Westerners were selling, selling, selling. Eventually the past couple weeks it got so bad the Chinks joined in and started buying SPY and Nikkei ETFs at 20% premiums to NAV.

Everyone who wanted to leave, left. Any westerners they were going to fleece got fleeced. And now they realize they need domestic savers to pile into the stock market instead of housing.

It looks like they've improved a little bit, but they still pay 40-60K less than market. I also remember checking their reviews and they would nickel and dime you on anything you tried to use or take home. The hours were also mentioned being pretty long. Not to mention their stock wasn't anything special until the last few years. They weren't a shitco but they weren't seeing the gigantic gains all those other tech companies were getting.
