The "12k" spam is interesting though because it seems to confirm BTC will indeed go sub 10k. That they want people to think it'll bottom out at 12k means it'll go lower. And it's illogical and naive to think it would stop dumping in the 12k range which is just ~3k lower than 15.5k – if there's a retest of 15.5k and that support fails, the resulting fear and panic will absolutely cause the price to fall more than just ~3k from there. Even stopping at 10k or 9700 (at the CME gap there) seems unlikely. It should be remembered that the Binance wick near the ATH, which they later claimed was just glitch, was to 8k.

You misunderstood what I wrote. I'm saying they're promoting 12k as the bottom to cause people to miss the bottom. What might end up happening is 15.5k is retested, the support fails, then it dumps to 10k and then to 8k. Lots of people bought in between 12k and 13k because of they'd heard from their favorite "crypto influencers" that 12k would be the bottom. Those people would miss the 8k bottom, which would be where the whales and smart money buys in. If you bought at 8125 for instance instead of 12500, that's 35% lower; a fairly significant difference.

Of course it might briefly dip a bit lower than 8k, I'm not saying it must stop dumping there. Just saying that if the 15.5k support fails then an 8k bottom is much more likely than a 12k one and also more likely than a 10k bottom and there might be something to the 8k Binance wick; it might've been a signal to those in the know.
