Buying a 5c LEAP for $695 and selling 45DTE 12c over and over yielding $20 every 30 days doesn't seem like a way to make money. If the stock suddenly went up (past your short calls) within then first 5 months of doing this you're guaranteed a loss. And if the stock goes down then you're making even less premium than before.

I decided to just let them ride and am ok with selling my shares at $488. I sold another $496 call last week with the same expiration and I plan on selling one more at the money call this coming Friday and then letting the entire position ride into next week. If the market continues to rally I at least get to sell some of my shares at the higher strikes plus keep the premium collected. Then i will take the cash and either sell cash secured puts or buy back in and do the entire process over again
