Visited a relative in the nursing home yesterday and it put one thing in stark relief for me. Time is the only thing you really have. Dont waste it on bullshit. Keep your finances healthy and your body fit. Take yoga or start a workout regiment by the latest in your 40s and 50s because once your money and/or your body goes, thats it. There was a lady, who sounded kinda young, at least not old enough to be in a home, screaming for help nonstop. The nurses said she always does that and its to the point they just let her scream.

Spend your money now and don't buy into retirement. You'll get better returns in stocks, bonds, savings accounts, starting a business, etc. Governments have been trying to pull retirement for over two decades. They're out of money and borrowing on yours. You'll never get it back, that's why they keep pushing the age limit. They don't have it. They spent your savings.

The pension age is planned to be 75 by 2035. It's in various think tank reports from every Western country.
