RWA and AI are heating up in the crypto scene for the next bullrun, according to a data. But hey, are they just here for the hype, or will they stick around? You know how people jump in when it's hot and bail when it cools down tsssk

I think RWA is next cycle. The regulatory landscape is mostly paved, but the infrastructure is still being built. Then again, a lot of development can happen between now and the hypothetical retard market of 2025-2026.

I think restaking will be at the heart of the boom in the near term. AI hype was 2023.

The problem for now is that the theoretical underpinnings for verifiable AI just aren't there yet. The state of the art, at least as of early last year, was maybe at the level of GPT-2. I think the emergence of proving markets, hardware acceleration, and some more recent zk research breakthroughs might accelerate things a bit, but an onchain/verifiable equivalent of GPT-4 still seems to be a few years out.

It's certainly possible to optimistically bridge the blockchain with LLM APIs, but it kinda defeats the purpose.

I work at the crossroads of RWA and AA these days. I think the money here will be in web2-to-blockchain interoperability for offchain RWA institutions and service providers, while AA's bull thesis is making smart contract interactivity accessible to boomers. RWA in particular may prove to be saving grace for linkies, and it seems that the project's marketing strategy has the attention of offchain players, but I wouldn't bet my house on it meaningfully moving the price.

>Google it and see why everyone is talking about it.
Googled RWA projects. At least one of the projects mentioned has ties to the companies I'm working with.

I fear that a lot of onchain RWA is not going to be accessible to retail investors, so the money might be in the infrastructure facilitating activities. At the same time, they seem inclined to more time-tested and established protocols, with a handful of exceptions.

>>57464471
Neural networks are black boxes if the public can't audit their processing. Need to be verifiable in much the same way zkEVMs are, but it's extremely expensive and time-consuming to accomplish this since they're basically giganic DAGs that require GPU clusters to process at scale -without- verification. Lots of research going into reducing the time and cost overhead of verification.
