I'm in my 30s and I still play like a true adventure. I can't bring myself to be the type of person to calculate how I'll get the highest DPS so I can make the most money in the shortest amount of time. I would much rather make less money and be able to relax and enjoy the game.

I was just thinking about this the other day. Back in 04-05 I used to make new f2p accounts all the time, buy some runes on them and kill barbarians for a few hours then go "pking" North of varrock East Bank.

I never made any money, died all the time and at the best got a few people in full iron, but it was so much fun. When the account got too high levelled I started over again. Its not something that can be done anymore which is a shame, but something I do think about it fondly whenever I'm near that area.

Honestly I just enjoy making spreadsheets and calculating stuff. I do the same stuff when I go to the gym too. So some people just enjoy that aspect of it. I get the most enjoyment out of efficiency, i guess that's why i chose to buy $PHAT and any other shitcoin relating to runescape

I was doing some hard clues earlier and had to go to lumby castle and saw there’s a bronze dagger on a drawer up there. I don’t know what it was about it but it sent me back to before EOC when I had to pay to get into Al-Kharid and all the memories of leveling up my gear to rune.
