I really hope you're not staking because of the build rewards because those will amount to fuck all.

It’s funny because interest in chainlink has been dwindling and advocates post controversial stuff like this in a futile attempt to keep the interest going.

They’re probably samefagging as fudders as well as shills so link doesn’t fade into obscurity.

Meanwhile I did a 5x with injective last year haha

xD

The price is where it should be.

Imagine buying link. Even if it went to $1,000 that’s a measly 70x while every other shitcoin did a 30-50x last year and more will do so this year lmao

Risk reward just ain’t there for link homie. Why would anyone buy link when you can just buy bitcoin. Less risk and better performance than link.

You are forgetting the critical fact that the link token is literally not needed.
This gets even worse with the "payment abstraction" scheme they cooked up.
You can pay in any token and this gets converted to link from the 350m node incetivization stack which then gets dumped onto the market by the node operators. This is entirely inflationary and means that the link token will be unneeded and unpumpable until all of the premine is dumped, and this is at least a decade away

>>57223028
>from the node incetivization stack which then gets dumped onto the market by the node operators
This happens for all L1s.
Bitcoin mining rewards are more than 95% inflationary subsidies.

It's pretty obvious that you only hold Link. You're clueless about the basic realities of crypto.

the 'premine dumping' will end in 1 year and 2 and a half months.
1 billion total - 350 million 'node incentivization stack' = 650 million.
current circulating supply is 568 million.
82 million left to dump.
12 million of that, we understand, will be dumped by March 2024.
Leaving 70 million to dump, which will likely happen between q2 2024 and q1 2025.

>> No.57223384

before fudsters jump in,
of course, they might say that from 'this stack' there is x left and from that stack only y has been dumped.
but that would mean paper promises.

I mean, there’s absolutely no reason for chainlink to have an 8 billion dollars valuation either. It’s all bullshit.

The only thing propping up the value of these tokens are VCs and market makers. Sol, xrp and Ada were accumulated by bitcoin whales and that’s why they’re at the place they’re right now. Chainlink was also accumulated by whales at some point but it’s literally the antithesis of quick gains in crypto. I think this is why it’s quickly being abandoned by market makers and hated by big crypto characters.

Chainlink goes against everything VCs want which is making fast money and growing the market. This is where retail can make money taking advantage of the inefficiencies of the market. Imagine if tether implemented chainlink proof of reserves, it wouldn’t be able to print money at will and prop up the market.

Chainlink wants the network to grow at the expense of pushing everything down but itself. They want scams to go away so the tradfi firms can come in and manipulate the market to their favor using official means like futures, options, etc.

Scams are part of what allows you to make money right now, however. In a regulated market they’d disappear as well as any incentive for making life changing gains.

In reality if chainlink wins, the tradfi companies win and you as retail will lose your edge, no more booms and busts.

Chainlink winning is node operators bringing in billions of dollars in fees while the link token remains relatively stable. This is why advocates don’t care about the price of the token, most of them are also node operators and are already making millions a year providing answer to centralized oracle calls.

Chainlink is not the hero, Eric Schmidt is not a good man.

Chainlink winning means you losing.

>This is why advocates don’t care about the price of the token, most of them are also node operators and are already making millions a year providing answer to centralized oracle calls.
Mmm… it makes sense now. They’re not getting paid for advocating but they do get paid as node operators. Maybe that’s why they’re so “patient” and tell everyone to keep holding for a decade, motherfuckers are already making a shitload of money even when link’s price goes to shit.

>Scams are part of what allows you to make money right now, however. In a regulated market they’d disappear as well as any incentive for making life changing gains.
Yes, that's exactly right. I am absolutely fine with the dumpster fire that is crypto completely collapsing for my own personal gain and your loss. There is no amount of spam that you full time ESL dregs can produce which will change the fact that the actual ponzis you rely on are inevitably going to be wiped out by chainlink.
It's why shit like bancor and celsius failed - they pretended to be with link, implemented something counter to it, and the rest is basically "fuck around and find out."
Bravo, you dumb animal. You actually stumbled across and showed an understanding of why I will never unstake or sell.
