Literally the ongoing crypto narrative changes every week like a schizo bipolar neurotic nutjob. A few weeks ago it was Injective, and after that, it was Solana, then the week after that it's Sei. What's the narrative going to be for next week besides the ETF?

Just a reminder that crypto is not a "set it and forget it" investment strategy like the stock market, not even close. It's too chock full of pea-sized attention span narcissistic normies who change their mind on a whim/living in the moment. That's why so many "promising" projects wind up slow rugging in this space, it's literally because whales and normies alike get bored way too easily and give up instantly.

It is in BTC's case but you're right it's not true for shitcoins (all alts)

Yeah I agree with that, on the condition that you keep dca'ing into bitcoin on the dips and just let it ride over time. As for alts, yeah that's pretty much what I meant when it's not a set it and forget it strategy.

I've been in crypto for 10 years.

The entire crypto space is just a pump and dump hot potato style market where everyone tries to find the next narrative to pump and shill then dump when you least expect it, then find the next narrative to pump and dump 1 week later.

Crypto has no actual inherent value, which leads to people hallucinating value and creating these insane emotion-filled speculation ponzi-style markets in all coins to get you to buy

Normalfags aren't even in right now.

What's happening is that since barely any new money is coming in the same money is just being sloshed around, everyone rotating from one thing to another chasing liquidity.

? It's obvious that most thread OPs are just shills and pump and dump artists. That is why they keep changing the narrative - they are different groups of shills that are pushing their coins. Real people don't change their narrative so often

That's completely contradictory

How so? Crypto "investors" always switch their investment from one token to the other according to the ongoing hype narrative(s). The point is that if you choose a few tokens to stick with for a long time, they'll likely bleed out because so many people abandon those few tokens gradually from sheer impatience.

Because it's just people rotating from ecosystem to ecosystem (read: shitcoin platform to shitcoin platform). I say this as someone who has profited off of both the SOL and SEI rotations. There is no actual use for any L1, it's just playing narratives.

you might get that impression from some forums like this or beoble (which isn't a forum but a chatting platform for cryptocucks) but really, the narrative doesn't really move too much, people in some places are simply impatient and that's true for everything. right now RWA and AI (INJ) are like, the main two, and it's been that way for a while now.

No? AI and crypto don't mesh well beacuse they have nothing to do with one another. AI is already expensive to process, throw in the inadequacies of blockchain tech and you get bloated messes and NFT scams and little else.

Agreed. Crypto is purely a digital catalyst for people to quickly suck away money from each other via bots/pnd schemes/snake oil marketing etc.

There's no point in being patient as the entire crypto market is built on emotional sentiments not actual measurable performance like companies are. Acting fast by anticipating public opinion is the best way to make money and to stop yourself from getting fucked.

Because hysteria makes money, simple as that. You have a lot of influencers making sure scams keep rolling, even the good ones that make legit marketing in viralx, are guilty of using mass hysteria to their benefits. And you know what? it works like a charm, because people like freaking out a lot more than being patient
