I think ill check]. The improvement was so drastic that they were able to buy 4 pieces of silver with 1 piece of silver, simply by redeeming dollars they'd exchanged.

And statists. You seem to forget that Nazi is short for National Socialism, and for socialism to work you need to centralize all resources for the central body, the state, to distribute as it sees fit. With National Socialism being a totalitarian state it had strict capital controls. No different than the CCP right now.

>Nah, I'm correct about everything I said and your philosophical rambling is useless noise.
You incorrectly labeled tax advice and real facts as psychobabble.

then you incorrectly labelled obvious truth as philosophy.

you label things and think that dismisses them. Smart people don't fall for this trick, which is why there are so few smart people around. The simple fact is there's no evidence your god is real, or aliens or AI are running things, or that jews are responsible for your failures in life.
So a smart person knows instinctively these things aren't true. And if you're stacking silver based on these wrong ideas, yngmi. Stack silver and gold if it makes you feel better about yourself or your odds of success in life. But understand it was never your idea in the first place, and you're basing it on lies that would be called philosophy or psychobabble or cult groupthink at best, and schizoid delusions at worst.

show evidence that manipulation of silver via derivatives is holding down the price, or that producers of silver aren't the ones engaging in that manipulation, or that silver is capable of reverting to monetary use for 9 billion people, or that even if capable it's somehow preferable.
There is no such evidence. You're stacking based on lies. Not even philosophy, just obvious untruths

I've only ever seen you post gold, so that makes you like me. But I stack gold based on the expectation that fiat will weaken. Not because of shorts, not because of jews, but because of the last 60 years of USD history. And I don't think gold will replace the dollar, that's silly. I think when the dollar crashes I will trade my gold for even more of whatever fiat replaces it.

geniuses and morons will both tell you to stack metals.

the main difference is ability to consider conflicting opinions. Or at least understand them. Labeling and dismissing ideas you don't agree with is just another D&C thing. The thread welcomes all stackers so long as they're not very smart and agree entirely with all the weird ideas and rituals you guys have. But that directly answers anon's claim that AI is making us dumber. Nope, it's you guys. It's just normal human behavior to reject independent thought and make themselves dumber without any help from anyone.

Most stacks don't survive a midlife crisis. That's the point in life where you realize you're a fucking idiot and have been doing everything wrong the first half of your life. This event is common among men, and it's unavoidable. If you're going to have a midlife crisis, there's nothing you can do to prevent it.

But if you want your stack to survive your midlife crisis, you better be stacking for good reasons. Real reasons. Because one day the bullshit is going to go away and you'll be forced to deal with truth. And stacks often don't survive this. Because people built them for bullshit reasons. More important than having real metals in your stack is having real reasons to be stacking in the first place. Otherwise you're not going to get robbed or cheated, you're just going to wake up one day and realize it was all bullshit. Stack metals for real reasons. Doesn't matter if you pay lip service to dollar collapse or global banking or the moral collapse of society. Underneath that you need to actually know why you stack, whether it's greed or revenge or getting laid, or whatever. Those are all valid and real reasons. They stand up to the test of time and personal growth.

capitalism. I front millions of $$$ to line up work for dozens of people over several years.

Lol I grew up poor and starving, with multiple disabilities, raised by an abusive alcoholic father and an oblivious 18 year old mom. We ate Saltines and peanut butter for dinner several nights a week.

One cold winter's night, after he came home from the bar and was satisfied with the damage he caused, he fell asleep on the couch.
My mom took my hand and we fled in the middle of the night in a barely working Geo Metro.
I was only 3-4 years old but I still remember that night. It was a full moon and deathly quiet. I knew I couldn't make a sound or risk waking him up.

Now I make $150k+/year and have over $1m in assets.

A few threads ago there was some good (albeit very shizo/autistic) discussion about fakes.
Can we do a re-run of that, please?
Now, I'm not too terribly worried about getting a fake from a reputable dealer, but I'd like to learn about how to identify one, say when I happen upon a flea market or an estate sale.
Pic related is a fake, since it has a very obvious telltale sign: I bought it off AliExpress for like 1€, so I'm pretty sure it's neither a legit morgan, nor even remotely silver. But random coins at a flea market rarely have their AliExpress invoice with them. What do I see here that's of similar indicative quality?

I would assume size and weight would be a giveaway, but I rarely have calipers and a scale with me.
Plus, assuming it's legit, the seller will see me pulling out that and immidiately know that this might be a rather valuable coin, which likely removes any chance of cheapies.
Magnet is probably easier, but that's actually not that 100% with that fake!
My small Nd magnet doesn't really attach to it and I can definitely feel some pull, but it's not too bad, compared to my 999 coins, where I only barely can feel the field lines with the magnet. Plus, I'd guess some 600 or 800 stuff (depending on what it's alloyed with) might behave similar?

Also found the head that's wearing that hat, don't worry.
Though, unlike about every valley in that region, this one doesn't have any historic gold mines in it and there's also no deposits indicated in the geologic map. However, there's some myths and tales about how the copper mine in that valley also produced gold and silver. Given that this mine ruined quite a few men, I kinda doubt it, but it doesn't need a PhD in Geology (though it kinda helped in this case) to assume that theere might be some trace gold associated with the Cu ores. Now I just need to find some that's worth more than 2 cents-

if you're in the alps, the gold is gone to terminal morraines. If you're in California, the gold is also gone to terminal morraines. If you're in colorado or alaska the gold is gone to terminal morraines.

I feel like there is a good thesis to be written on how the masses are sort of being control by being "boxed out" of participating in society by living solely on the fringes of benefits provided by "economies of scale". I believe that a good way to think of this being an ounce of gold is a "capital unit". And for the average monthly salary after you pay your expenses, capital units are not attainable without long term savings. Financial products sold by banks and Wallstreet are also part of the mechanism that provides us with a pay-off at the expense of lifelong servitude of deferred consumption to earn a small return. The illusion of prosperity is that we have more and more consumables and services, but our effective wages are pulling us lower outside of being able to accumulate capital outside of ponzi-servitude. We can afford a bar tab but a laywer, doctor, braces for your children, house, education, - all large expenditures that require capital-unit (gold) tier spending are now boxing us in to requiring financing. Or Insurance - which is another way to funnel large stores of public capital into the ponzi.
This leaves most people at the mercy of the "economies of scale" scale system. It literally has to keep humming along in the service of the debt-ponzi or we sink much like a water skier who loses momentum.
The debt-ponzi is a wealth extraction mechanism and it was created by expanding debt/credit. debt/credit are fungible to cash in that the spend the same. However, debt needs to be repair or written off as a loss. So by saturating the economy with debt/leverage/credit it de-facto prices us out of our cash and forces us all into dealing with the ramifications of financialization placing us ALL in a state of precarity as prices rise. Storing PMs is going to be a big winner because people's saving habits are now also tied up in leveraged speculations such as housing and stocks and bonds. And as we said before, debt needs to be repaid. But it can't!

I like to keep an eye out for content creators to see varying points of view. One of them being Bix Weir who is 100% silver(no gold) maxi. With some long-med term bull thesis on crypto. It's interesting to compare him to other PM bulls who still bother to speculate on mining stocks etc. And also at the same time there are people who just invest in dividend/income stocks regardless of any monetary/fiscal concerns.
On one hand I think there is room to place some small bets on miners and you can probably keep a little bit of money in some of these shitty stocks and just eat the losses on them for some temporary income to be comfy while we wait. I think Bix makes a pretty solid case, but the more solid he is, the MORE the world and Fed will do to kick the can for as long as possible. And if PMs revalue there is a damn good cause to suspect that mines will just get nationalized anyway.

I typically don’t buy 10oz bars from my LCS unless there’s a brand I like. They’re the same premium as junk and 50 cents less than 1oz rounds. Non American coins are about a dollar or dollar fifty more than rounds

I heard the ussr made actual silver replicas of reichsmarks, from the original dies and exact metallurgical content identical, it was very difficult to separate them and the only way to have any guess which was which was to look at which coins seem like they had not been circulated. Silver is silver, as long as the metal content is identical, the issue isnt so bad of something not heing the historic original. After wwii russia ended up with a lot of mills, lathes, dies, fixtures, and some presses. The usa ended up with some very large hydraulic presses, alcoa aluminum has one still*
>has one still*
Components need replacing so the actual original parts have been recycled however the design is still the same, with replaced parts.

If you commit to it please post here, fren. I’ve toyed with the idea for about a year now and my theoretical setup is:
>electric furnace (maybe. The crucibles are much smaller than conventional propane setups and a fucked up poor would have a hard time getting recycled.)
>3D printer to make molds
>metal tub and sand to cast

I like the idea of not worrying about two sided pours. It drastically complicates things versus just having a blank back which could be utilized some how.

What is it about you republicfags always getting salty over constitutional monarchy effigies on coins? Do you really think having a politician as a head of state instead of having a monarch divorced from politics is better because from my stand point republics have been a disaster and have never brought about the fairness people think it will. The United States right now is a Banana Republic, a mafia state just like the Russian Federation. Imagine if Trudeau was the head of state in Canada, he would have brought in the army to suppress the truckers because he would have had the power to do so but couldn't because their oath is the monarch, not the prime minster.

I'm salty about it because that hag of a monarch is on EVERYTHING. It's disgusting and excessive. The only commonwealth coinage with a monarch on it I will own is stuff gifted to me or stuff I've found. I don't even know why I'm responding to a person defending the monarchy, it's actually making me chuckle, so thanks.
