What's it like working for Lionbridge? Is it difficult? Do they raise your pay rate according to productivity? How often? Room for promotion?

i started as a work at home contractor for them about 4 months ago

$15/h no bonuses attached to my project apparently, dont think any of them have them.

promotion seems pretty slim since youre a contractor and not an employee.

Some people at >>570685's link are complaining about long work shortages and unpaid training. Have you experienced these issues?

on my project theres only been an outage of 2 days at most and you could catch up during the rest of the week. ive seen other projects go for like a week without anything though. luck of the draw

'training' is unpaid. mostly reading and attending podcasts if you want. it doesnt seem to be much of a recurring thing. although i got moved to another project and had to look over 5 pages worth of material, some of them have 80-100 pages.
