My dream is to save 1mil so my wife can quit her part time job and we can have a 4th kid. I need 500k to pay off my mortgage and 500k to supplement my income with divs. I have no other debt so we’d be good. Sadly, I’m almost 40 and she’s 36, so we’ll most likely run out of time.

One of my friends who is based af has been battling cancer for a decade. It has wrecked him. He went from being a business owner to bankrupt. He walks with a limp now due to nerve damage during a surgery. There’s more wrong too but it’s personal. Even now he is going through chemo for the fourth time in a decade. If I make it I’ll pay for him to do whatever it is he wants. That’s it.
