That's why you
A) trade popular stocks
B) try to beat investing normies also trading the news
C) INVEST, but not TRADE into obscure companies who you think will make it big.

If you follow these rules you should be fine.
A is important, because trading obscure stocks is a losing game and algos as well as investment funds (your only opponents) will always be ahead of you.
B is the only way you can consistently make money, you just have to be ahead on the news until that news spreads to other small scale investors who either push or drop the stock at such scale even ingesting firms don't try to fight against it (of course short term, they can, but still)
C is just common sense, but you need to be knowledgeable about the field you're investing in.
