also my gas fees were randomly lower than they should have been. roughly 1/3rd of what i agreed to pay to the network, but your mileage may vary, it might charge you the full amount. i would say that staking early is OP and worth it and hopefully we keep accumulating rewards. im getting link much faster right now than in 0.1 but yeah obviously it will come down. i would rather have my current .3 link than the 20-something dollars in gas fees and hopefully by the time the migration period is over it will more than pay for it. just sharing what i've seen so far for the /biz/ bros so you can make a more informed decision. who knows if they'll pause rewards or something randomly but i doubt they will. also the reward rate is plummeting every 15-20 minutes as people come in but yeah i hope it stays above 10% for a few days lmao.

i put 1 wallet around noon. it already made me 0.85 link. i just put the rest in now. the fee difference was 4$. since you are staking for 9 days before priority access you are generating for 9 days extra interest guarenteed. those 9 days pay for the fee and you make more link that way. theres no point to wait, even in the worst case scenario you get around 8.5% interest which is double the least amount. the excess 4.25% covers the fee as it is currently.

assuming half full for 9 days at around 8.5% if all early stakers migrate:

7323 * 0.085 / 365 days x 9 days active = ~15 link. ~half of that is the excess link generated so 7.5 link

7.5 link at current market price 14.5$ = $110~ so the gas fee of ~55$ is fine.

breakeven point is 7323 / 2 = 3661 link so if you have more than that you should eat the fee and send it now. any less you should wait accordingly. fuck you fudders lost 3 link rewards due to this bs

Once staking.chain.link is full, they open up the 375k LINK to the unwashed masses who miss general access, it's free advertising and encourages more people interacting with stake.link in that situation.
