If all of these L1 protocols use GHOST already then what is Kaspas unique selling point supposed to be? In either case it doesn't really matter, settlement layers are a poor investment choice. The vast majority of value will be locked in private permission chains as already happens and the fees accruing to transactions on open chains will be minimal and fragmented across all existing chains by interoperability systems. Value will instead accrue to collateralisation of smart contracts. IFYKY.

On the other hand, you have the option of trusting the word of people who do demonstrate the technical knowledge to make that distinction. Zelcore has a weird feature with multiple wallets. They are called things like "Payments, Income, etc." It doesn't necessarily default to the wallet you deposited into. Try switching between those and see if your money showed up. If the wallet you sent to was correct it will be there. If it doesn't, then maybe it was never completed by the swap site you used, in which case contact their support people with the transaction ID and they'll sort it out.
