I think I see what you're saying, however the rationale that they're espousing will lead directly to significant changes if a large enough group adopts the same mindset. The difference I see is that they are approaching it philosophically by bringing back the ideas that the West operated on pre-Nietzsche and not just arguing emotionally against specific actions and laws as they crop up. Given the evidence of the last 150 years, I think the failings are becoming evident to most; and people just recently diagnosed the cause correctly.
