I use both UNG and BOIL. UNG trades 24 hrs too. I have evolved into using UNG as something of a root for the position to begin with, then as it dips deeper and deeper I inject more and more BOIL into, depending on where I think the bottom has the likelihood and potential to be. This pretty much makes it to where I have something there to catch any "surprise" upside, and don't get too dragged down by "surprise" downside while I build positions.

The other thing I'm noticing is that stores are running starting to run out of things again. Especially household consumables that have a long shelf life, like soap or spaghetti sauce, as if people got the message and are stocking up right now before things get even more expensive in the future. This is the inflection point in an inflationary spiral.

Yeah, we are nowhere near the top. Inflation ex shelter went up and food inflation is still going strong. What did you expect? But that has a minor impact on the big money... i.e., it's quite irrelevant to the stock market.
Wage growth is insane in the US and people are more than happy to pay these prices.
Plus you guys have had 10y+ to collect FREE MONEY from the banks during times of ZIRP and you literally got free money during Covid. Older generation normies are beyond rich at this point. Even millenials should be fine and should have massive buffers.

So you've had mostly a huge wage growth + Covid money + essentially free loans. And that is the average which includes poor people. Remove poor people (i.e., the ones that don't matter to the market) and I'll be you see much much better figures.
Most people that matter to the market have pathetically low mortgage rates that they refinanced during times of low rates. High yields on saving accounts. And high growth rates for higher positions. Yepp, there's a reason why the US economy is so strong.
Even us Europoors have insanely huge buffers since we had 10y of ZIRP and free money.

They can't do laws for shit. Can't even build up debts properly, getting slapped by the highest court right after making their will public on how to spend the money they aren't allowed to spend anymore.

It probably will happen should AFD grow stronger. Ironically then this would actually strengthen the AFD further, cause it would pretty much be what Hitler would call "Finanzjudentum".

Yes. This applies to those that have any say in the world. Covid printed additional 40% of the supply (from 15400 to 21600 ish) and about 80% additional supply was printed from 2009 to Covid.
All in all, from 2009 to peak of M2 they printed an additional 1.5x amount (2.5 times) (8400 vs 21600).
Wealth has exploded. Housing prices have exploded. Yes, people are significantly richer now. Hell, my dad's business has increased profits by 100%+ over the last two years bc of some serious price gouging that he could blame on the inflation. Good for the stock market though. Increasing profits since production compensation has not kept up ever since the 70s (company profits have gone up exponentially).
I know it's a bad thing. There's no way in hell I will ever afford to buy a nice house for example. I ain't paying 8% for a mortgage and as someone new to the workforce, I am getting shafted every opportunity they get (plus a smaller wage growth). So yeah, it's shit for a lot of people.
