DSCVR isn't leaving, it's still running on ICP, but they shifted their marketing focus toward Solana which has real users. They made the right choice imo, whereas distrikt tried too hard to pander to the nonexistent ICP community and now they're throwing in the towel.

Dfinity has to push to promote whatever the best shit being developed is at the moment so whether its some recycled garbage idea doesn't matter in that sense. Right now the IC is in desperate need of real innovators pushing out products on the network like Dragginz. Not so much a tech issue but a lack of original community devs. If the tech stands the test of time those innovators will come eventually. I think devs are just burnt out from all these new networks being shitted out and none want to commit to something new like the IC without more assurance of longevity.

Web3 projects need to work around the strengths of web3 to build something solid that’ll actually kick off, then all the clones can start coming in

I suppose, in a way, Dragginz is one such project. The direct, tokenised governance that the devs claim to allow DKP holders to have over the shaping of the game is a unique feature working to the web3 strength of tokenisation and the icp SNS governance model

Someone make a page where people can copy paste these stupid ass links without actually having to go to these sites, and when you do, it spits out information about the website so you know what the fuck the links going to send you to before you enter it in. I know most of these links are safe and even I don't want to go to them without knowing what they are before hand. Or build a web browser on top of ICP that allows people to apply actual website names to these dumb ass links.
