It might be illegal to directly sell PMs for new dollars at some point, and God knows they'll try to pass taxes on it regardless, but fortunately, PMs are worth something in every country and currency on the planet, so there will always be a black market exchange for them. That was me and I received my bold order yesterday after 5 weeks from ordering. They do use some opsec on their shipping, however everything is USPS and goes through the same terminal in TX so I expect the USPS employees in that terminal all know the various names bold ships under. If you contact them via the website, be aware that their CS reps are Indian and that your email may automatically block or send their replies to your spam folder. Regular promo emails and automatic order emails from bold don't suffer from that issue, just emails from their streetshitter CS reps. Best of luck. They will resolve it, it just might take a while.

They're "reputable", but they use poos for all of their customer service. It's often horrific call quality if you have to call them. I'll never buy from Bold again. Try hero if you want a better domestic vendor with awesome sales on coins (and crazy fast shipping) and Golden State Mint for rounds/bars. GSM sales are the cheapest around for smaller quantities of generic silver lately, and sometimes their fractional prices are as much as other places 1oz rounds premiums. RN they have buffalos $1.11 over spot and bars $1.41. I think you get 10% off the premiums if you're a veteran as well, but it might be 15%? (I'm not a veteran).

I personally use PMs as a massive foundation on which to build my portfolio. Think about it in terms of game theory. If PMs do nothing then that means you are 100% free to safely invest in income and growth stocks.
If shit really does break down then you PM gains will more than make up for any losses you experience.
The people who are adamant about being 100% out of the market are often selling you the PM hype. People who are a little more savvy know that there is still money to be made without completely risking everything. You can still invest in your 401k if you get matching and you can still maintain a modest portfolio to slurp dividends and look for commodity-based equities. I personally think mining stocks are risky, but you can literally ride the fence and have dividends as well as exposure to PMs. So why the hell not!
