It shows the spread between IV on different ATM SPY option expirations. When IV on the 120 day gets less than or equal to -2 below the 30 day you can expect a sharp market rebound. The spread getting that wide only happens at the bottom of really big dumps though and we're no where near that right now. Those spreads can be good buy the dip indicators, volatility short and long indicators, etc. you just need to look for yourself and see what you think
