Making 8%...
You can ALMOST make that much now, by just buying a treasury bond, without risk.
3% difference today... 2% next month...1% by Christmas / WWIII... Jan, you'll probably be pulling 8 to 10% off of a "war bond" at the rate the US dollar is collapsing.

It amazes me how many people don't know this, too many retards out there following guys on social media claiming they made unfathomable amounts of money off day trading. This isn't a debated topic nearly every piece of academic research conducted shows that a passive buy and hold strategy beats an actively traded one. EMH came out in the 1960s and yet we still have people who think you can freely just beat the market. You have guys who dedicated their lives to identifying arbitrage opportunities down to the nano second, yet some neet supposedly has a strategy that can generate you 200% returns a month for the rest of your life. Your best bet is to hold the market while lowering your transaction costs, part of the reason index etfs are the best possible investment.

Okau faggots im a degerate gambler and here is my take
>29 years of gamble, since im a sperg I have been taking notes on how much I have won and lost throughout the years
>aroubd 79k gambled, Im around 35k in loses despite not being a retard and playing with strategy
>crypto, stocks, and other financial casinos have made me 16k in profits in around 6 years
Gamblers never ever go on green numbers, and I have made those 16k just following "advice" from here kek, basically gambling but you have way more control over the outcome.

>> No.56389477 [DELETED]

Day trading is retarded. Just run the SP 500 at 1.5x to 2x leverage over a 20 year period. Use Deep ITM LEAPS or long synthetic futures for the leverage. Use SPY for options liquidity. That's at least 15% CAGR assuming relatively normal market conditions over the 20 year period. It's really that easy. Or just max out your roth 401k and roth IRA with QQQ if you're dumb.

I honestly don't think they consider QFL and learning to read the charts. It works almost 100 percent of the time. Tell anyone that and they point to infographics like this. Full of shit.

I don't mind telling everyone this method because the volume in crypto is currently too low so have at it. We'll buy each other's bags as brothers.

Pick a token that regularly drops 10% or more.
After each drop it bounces back at a strong rebound from a local base.
After the next drop, did the price go back to that base?
What about the other drops? Do they all recover to the strong rebound base before the drop?

Look at the most recent rebound base. Set an alert at that base. When the alert goes off, set a buy order 10 percent below that base.

Do the same thing for channels. If a token is moving within a channel, set an alert for when it breaks the channel support and place an order 10 percent below.

Are there fat fingers, ie scam wicks? If there are multiple regular scam dumps to a certain price, set a limit buy order down there.

Trade small enough that you don't mind losing the money in case you catch a falling knife. Besides you can put in another order if it drops more and you're impatient and want to save the deal. You actually want it to drop more so you can make money faster. When it eventually comes back in a month the original order you "saved" with that safety order then also makes you money.

But even the falling knives recover after a month with this method.

It's called QFL. You don't ever lose money, you always want to come out at least 1% ahead, set trailing buys for 2% profit with 0,2 trails.

Ease your way into trades, nibble at them more and more as they drop. Don't sell all the way when they come back up, you're buying yourself free coins that will explode when the market enters a bull run.

R is just your multiple of risk
If youre Risking $100 per trade,1R for you is $100 and gaining 12R would mean $1200 gain.
Most people target 2R (2:1) per trade as a starting point.
If youre risking $300 per trade then 1R for you is $300 and making 12R would be $3600

And set ups are just things like buy set ups, parabolic shorts, flags, vcp's (voltaility contraction patterns) inside bars, and that type of shit.
Good traders master a handful, midwits try to do them all.

>> No.56390999

in sports betting, you are either right and win the odds, or you wrong and lose 100%. At least in trading you can get out at any percentage of loss.
And that's the only difficulty: accepting defeat and cutting the loses at -5%.
Once people are good at losing, the gains are astronomical and nothing competes with trading.

If sports betting is easy it's only because the bet maker cuts the bet for you.

It's not quite the same but a lot of sportsbooks let you cash out bets early if you're ahead.
>bet on underdog to win
>underdog is up at halftime
>if you cash out at halftime you'll win some money, not as much as if you waited for the game to end but you're also not risking a loss if the favorite comes back to win
>bet a 5 leg parlay
>can cash out after hitting the first 4 legs
>not as much money as if you hit all 5 legs but again you're avoiding the risk of losing that final leg and thus losing the whole bet
