That shit's way more efficient than it was in the 70s and already exploding in growth, I feel like the most logical investing decision in that scenario would be to put money in oil stocks because of the inevitable surge in prices and also renewable energy stocks at the same time to capitalize in a surge in long-term investments.

Everyone on /smg is also a felon. In fact, former federal prosecutor Harvey Silverglate says in his book, that:

>the average professional in this country wakes up in the morning, goes to work, comes home, eats dinner, and then goes to sleep, unaware that he or she has likely committed several federal crimes that day. Why? The answer lies in the very nature of modern federal criminal laws, which have exploded in number but also become impossibly broad and vague.

>In Three Felonies a Day, Harvey A. Silverglate reveals how federal criminal laws have become dangerously disconnected from the English common law tradition and how prosecutors can pin arguable federal crimes on any one of us, for even the most seemingly innocuous behavior.

>The volume of federal crimes in recent decades has increased well beyond the statute books and into the morass of the Code of Federal Regulations, handing federal prosecutors an additional trove of vague and exceedingly complex and technical prohibitions to stick on their hapless targets.

You're coping pretty hard right now. Reminds me of all the clueless takes from a few months back that the FDIC bailout of SVB VC depositors wasn't really printing. They thought markets wouldn't pump because it wasn't real printing... because all the added liquidity might in theory someday return through higher FDIC premiums upon other regional banks.
Every day that the federal government operates at a deficit, new money is printed. Some of this is arguably necessary to offset population growth. The rest tends to eventually lead to price inflation.

>>56344004

It does thought because the principal is loaned into existence and it carries interest. So there's always more debt that needs to be payed back than there is currency to pay it back with. Sure the treasury could literally print money and pay back all the debt but the currency would collapse. The system requires more and more debt otherwise there is a deflationary spiral as debt is being payed back and the fact that there is more principal + interest than currency in circulation sets in.

don't expect to get an actual gf and don't expect to get laid if you do match. that's why they're known as hookup apps whether they claim it to be or not. it really is a numbers game and sometimes you get lucky sometimes you don't. i haven't so i'm probably going to quit using them for good

You're a bit late to the party. LCID is down 90%. Others like WKHS are down 99% from peak. Some of the most blatant frauds have already delisted (RIDEQ).
You could still short TSLA, but that's no longer a startup. They've raised so much capital and maintained their retarded valuation for long enough that it's almost justified at this point. Ok, well really it's still trading at 4-5x what it probably should be, and future shareholder returns are gonna be dogshit unless it can somehow pump and dump to 10 trillion and do another insane capital raise on top of that, and somehow also find a useful product segment to grow into using all that capital beyond automobiles. But the point is that it's a cult stock and there's no obvious catalyst to kill the current supply/demand balance of the stock float until/unless Elon starts selling again.

That's a qt Lum, bro. The market quickly adjusted to the "invasion" as oil now pretty much completely undid that pump. Unless an oil-producing country gets hit bad, I can't see oil really rallying and staying there. Oil is lucky that the US economy is that strong and that OPEC is an asshole. Imagine if a recession actually were to happen in the US... oil would instantly drop to zero.
What I am now interested though is copper since we have a recovering China, strong US consooomer, two potential wars. Copper could rally pretty hard next year. But commodities are commodities, which means they are unpredictable and hugely manipulated. Hmm, maybe I'm just gonna hold Apple and MSFT and get guaranteed gainz instead of this hassle with oil and copper
