there is no appeal, they just have customer loyalty like all megabanks. bank of america for example posted a massive profit beat last quarter because they paid the least interest on customer deposits because they were too lazy to move them into higher yield savings or MMFs.

Isn't that dependent on the exchanges you use or the on ramps? I use Wells Fargo and use Coinbase as my offramp, I spoke to the bankers to see if it was okay to wire $15k or if it would get flagged and it's gotten through.

I bought lay 2018 early 2019, and continued buying up to 2023. Though I've bought in $500-$2k increments, so nothing wild. Maybe it's the amount. Though I kept my offramps amounts to less than $10k, but I needed the $15k soon so I spoke to a banker, showed coinbase and it went through.

I thing now more than ever, banks are kinda crypto friendly especially if you depositing from "legitimate" exchanges. Banks gotta have that sweet liquidity lol

I only have about $2500 in that account and I'm thinking about moving it to another institution. Giving .01% on a savings account in 2023 is fucking high tier kikery and feel like a retarded piece of shit the longer I leave my money with them.

I use Chase as my primary checking account and the balance basically never goes over $2000. They will never, ever have serious savings accounts rates because they don't need them. They're among the most trusted Jews out there so they get to slurp all of the margin and goys happily let them. Also their credit cards are fantastic so weird to include that when you're definitely right about their rates being a total joke.

You clearly don't bank with Chase yet feel as if you know anything. They don't offer either HYSA or any type of Money Market. Otherwise this wouldn't be an issue. Your only option at getting an interest above .01% is to open a CD, and even then the rates are very low.

Chase is a shit bank and yes there Customer service is shit too. You've clearly never been with Navy Federal or any Credit Union if you think Chase is a good financial institution.

I was literally having this discussion with a friend on Friday about which is worse. WF consistently gets into legal trouble because of underhanded business practices so they're probably worse, but in terms of actual consumer products they're probably the same.

I would highly recommend avoiding the megabanks. I hate Chase vehemently because I had only banked with Navy Federal from age 12 until age 27. They gave me my first credit card at 23y/o with a $7500 limit when I had a sub 500 credit score. 5 years later, and I now have 2 total cards at NFCU with a $55,000 combined limit and a score of 753.

In comparison I've had the Amazon card with Chase for about two years, and these cocksuckers wouldn't give me $2,000 limit increase until two months ago. Not only do they have poor savings products, they don't trust any of their customers with credit until they're richfags.

how strange. amazon chase card was my first chase card, started off with a $,1500 credit limit. i didn't ask for limit increase because i was stupid and didnt know it was a thing until like 2 years later. i've got like $20k credit limit in 3 cards with chase and i'm definitely not a richfag. i think they rely more on credit history and FICO, but i dunno what happened with you since you had good credit history. only thing i can think of is that they have a hard limit on giving you credit limit increases more than half of your self-reported income.

The card limit I started with at Chase was $10,000, now it's $12,000. I don't know what their logic is but I don't like it. Maybe Navy Federal is just overly liberal with giving out credit, but going from them to Chase was eye opening.

If it weren't for that Amazon Prime card I would close down my savings account with them and move my money to online. I only opened it as a secondary account to stash money, and thought it'd be convenient. Little did I know about their kikery.

It's not that hard to get. You only have to get a referral from a friend who has an account. They don't even have to be in the military or government. If you have any friends who bank with NFCU just ask.

That's cool that you found that. I'm guessing those are CDs being traded on the open market. If you look at the rates actually offered to their customers in the app. The highest rate they offer is 5% APY and it requires a $100k minimum. Everything is else between .03% and 4.00%.

I tried to screenshot it but they don't allow it on the app.
