Really what we’re seeing are the consequences of solving the oracle problem. We knew chainlink would have unforeseen applications, now we’re seeing them bear fruit. What is really meaningful about this is that it will increase chainlink jobs and also increase link trade volume. It also means you have no need to hold eth or any other chain in your wallet to pay gas fees. You’ll just hold link and eth will be purchased and spent at the moment of transaction. Meaning less of eth or other chains being held in wallets and more link taken off the market at any given time. Another possibility is that this will affect transaction ordering as there will now be a layer of link between gas payment and transaction ordering. Another blow to MEV.

Well it’s the most likely suspect for a naturally emergent ai to arise. One not made by human intervention. And I have a lot of doubt on whether it’s even possible for us to make a true ai with how little we understand about consciousness. I think it’s much more likely for it to evolve accidentally out of processes. And with chainlink connecting smartcontracts and IOT you have stimulus and response not only from the blockchain universe and the internet, but from the IOT. Like a protozoan waggling it’s flagellum around, exploring its surroundings and it’s own existence.

One day yeah. The promise of chainlink is a seamless end user experience in a multichain world. For that world to exist it means flattening the user experience between different chains. Chain choice will probably be automatically generated by a background process to choose the fastest dnd cheapest option at any moment. So layer 1s are just like isps. Not really very special.

Yes. Just like dex-aggregators route your swap through ideal dex protocol(s) and their liquidity pools, Chainlink will route any of your requests through any avalaible path. It wil AGGREGATE EVERYTHING and ABSTRACT IT AWAY for end users.

I think that's almost guaranteed, probably BTC as well if things carry on as they are and adoption goes as anticipated amongst the institutions.
BTC still has no real use outside of the whales who hold it, believing it's the future of currency.
I think it's more likely we move on to a multi-chain world with everyone from countries to banks having their own blockchains.

>solving the oracle problem
hi, the oracle problem is how to verify data is correct before copying it onchain. link does none of that, it just copies the data, while priding themselves on correctly copying the data, not inventing any new data on accident, something that never happens ever, but just copies the data, an operation that is so trivial that there are built in machine codes to do exactly that. it does solve the money problem of sergey though
