Gradual slowdown becoming stagnation towards the end of the decade
>Two more weeks!
China isn't going to collapse and anyone suggesting that is actually retarded, they're going to stagnate like Japan. Just a much bigger, poorer Japan.

China has a big enough domestic consumer market to grow on its own these days. Russia is bound to become their captive market too these days due to europeans cutting bridges over Ukraine.

The biggest worrying sign about China is that they're still NOT a cultural export and are completely mogged in this department by South Korea and Japan. They will never be a global hegemon without it.

The person who did this meme can't into basic statistics, current chinese GDP per capita is 12 700, american GDP per capita is 76 400.
+6,3% for China is +800 USD.
+1,1% for the US is +840 USD.

America is actually becoming wealthier faster than China here.

the main difference is China has an even higher local government debt burden and terminal demographics. China has basically everything arrayed for a Japan style lost decade. The only problem is they didn't get rich before this happened because they squandered what should have been their last, best years before the stagnation by accidentally releasing an incomplete bioweapon, being belligerent with every neighbor and getting into a trade war with their biggest customer.

Stagnation for Japan hasn't been that bad because they skyrocketed up to first world status before it sank in. Most of China is still solidly third world.

China sucks a fat dick. You can find doomer news about any large nation if you look for it, it’s not “bias media” it’s business as usual. There’s 100x more “the west will fail in two more weeks” news/clickbait than everything about ching chong land combined. Stop replying to a CCCP made thread newfags.

this is a good post and demonstrates a fundamental understanding of the producer/consumer dynamic of these two very similar, debt riddled nations.
China is in a position of strength today because it produces, but it is not a free market, and it is higly unstable for long term capital
usa is just drunk at this point everybody went crazy just enjoy it for now, prepare but enjoy

I looked up "Valiant Panda" out of curiosity and they're a paid cartoonist for the Global Times with an overt anti-American and pro-Chinese bias. I wouldn't take that image seriously at all.

And they never will be unless CCP hands over control to the younger generation. they're all cringe old boomers who thinks 1949 Maoist aesthetics are still kino. they need to hand the reigns over to their zoomer grandsons if they want to stand a chance at dethroning Japan or Korea's spot in the soft powers global hegemony
