My best advice would be to search for the top pharma companies and whatever other companies are contracted to conduct/support RCTs and then go to their websites, their career pages, and search "nurse" or "nursing". You'll have to do some searching but you'll find positions you're potentially qualified for and then just from there. Book mark those searches and check them often. Also tidy up your CV, have friends/colleagues review it. Finding positions is itself a grind. That was the general approach I took for the position I interviewed for yesterday. Vanguard and Blackrock can't just take a position in some 50M micro cap with great returns because if they try to allocate even 0.01% they destroy the price. This is the biggest advantage that the individual investor has over institutions. The individual can actually get a good position in a micro or small cap with good returns. Also institutions have to care about tracking error so they can never deviate that much from the overall index.

When you're a small fish you can easily compound at 15-20% per year using factor investing and only picking the best 20-30 stocks every 6 months. Couple that with wageslaving and in 10-15 years you're set and it's basically a sure deal.

Production volumes are a double edged sword I think. If they cut CAPEX and drill less they risk undercutting production guidance, and in doing so hurting the share price and the shareholders. I may be biased about this but I do think public companies with low margins and/or gigh decline rates (a lot of US shale operators) are kind of between a rock and a hard place with their production and costs

I'm Norwegian and we have a fuck ton of tiny cap oil stocks that all have PE's in the 2-5 range. Small fish like me can invest in them, but they fail to attract large scale institutional investors due to their small caps. It's basically a guaranteed 20% or more per year. We also have a lot of shipping companies with similar returns, although that's a more volatile industry.
