>T expanded to much. They paid a shat load for Direct. Then they paid a shat load for Warner. Then when the costs got to high instead of just spinning off the assets they mixed it up with a divvy cut as part of the deal. Which is why the stock tanked. Cause the deal was not done "cleanly". Cause if you looked at the deal terms the winners of said deal were Discovery shareholders. For each Disc share you owned, A,B or C class, you got 1 new WBD share in it's place. Then course the divvy cut pissed off a shat load of people to. Once the dust settled both stocks (T and WBD) tanked cause people were bailing left and right. T over the divvy cut. WBD due to the loads of T holders selling their newly issued shares due to not wanting it.
Yeah that all makes sense but if you bought a divy stock and they go through all that, then it feels like i should have just gone with a meme growth stock if im going with drama anyway. Get more than 3% yield or something at least.

Then you have companies like VZ and KO. VZ had the good sense to sell it's media assets before things took a massive shat. Both companies are now simple. Those divvies will never be cut. Why? In the case of KO it's an easy thing; billions of product sold, liquid in a can, gallon jug, etc. Merely hike prices of it all 1 penny. Boom, divvy hike covered and more. VZ's case you have your internet and phone. There's only 2 other companies that offer that. Billions of sheep. Your bandwidth requirements (aka sucking) aren't going down anytime soon. What are you gonna do? Toss away your phone and your streaming ability not to mention not be able to pay your bills? Anarchism comes from the greek anarkhia, "an" (no) and "arkhia" (ruler)
No leader.
The tricky part about Anarchism is, that it doesn't really have a clear definition, it just means no leaders, and if one goes by Hobbes, the absence of a monopoly of violence means that the "state" doesn't have any capacity to enforce its rules so by definition no rulers

I already made clear, that Anarchism has no clear cut definition, its just a word with an etymology, but if you take the state in whatever form, be it a monarchy, a democracy, a theocracy, whatever and that state doesn't have the force capacity to enforce its paper laws and norms than there is no ruler, its the natural state; cops are then just another gang that compete with violence

your idea of "no hierarchies" is bullshit, because that isn't the etymology of Anarchism, its just your interpretation, and I can really not think about where you got that idea, its definitely not a cynic idea, and I don't think Proudon or Bakunin, or any other of the syndicalist pseudo anarchists defined it that way

Already happening. They lock all the actually good deals behind using their app which records information about you that is then sold off to the highest bidder. Recoups some of the cost of discounting the food and you make even more money overcharging the dick off people at the window and the counter that don't use the app for whatever reason. Watched it happen with basically every major fastfood company over the last year or two. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the same places go to a food-as-a-service model with a recurring monthly or yearly subscription like it's a fucking costco to get better deals/deals non-members can't get (through your app on your phone doncha know!)

Subscriptions.
Rudy from Alpha Investments discussed this about 8-14 months ago in a video. I don't think it was a whiteboard, can't find it.
Anyways, he gave Taco Bell as an example, maybe $10 a month and you get a $1 taco for free, per day. You still pay extra for sides and drinks, and it basically gets you to the venue every day, or at least motivates the consumer to visit and buy more often. It would be structured in such a way that the breakeven if something like 2 visits a week. As a consumer, you'd want to guarantee fast service - who cares if you get a free taco if you have to drive 15 minutes both ways and wait for 25 minutes? Otherwise I could just work for an hour and save more time (more valuable). I can see it being useful in McD's eg breakfast menu. Something like paying $30 a month and you get a daily egg mcmuffin and coffee or something.
The big thing is that it creates a predictable cash flow. Which like you said, will be useful for selling data to the highest bidder and modeling different demographics for further payment models.

Also remember that McDonalds gets more of its revenue from renting to its franchisees. If a restaurant fails, the parent company still owns more land. And places like Coca Cola will have good access to water rights in the future.

Nah. They pay 20.50/hr average but they're going to fire you after two years with the company if you're doing the legwork like delivery driver demands. Once you're burnt out and on the verge of repetitive stress injury they don't want you anymore. It's similar to how people were chimping about UPS drivers making an average of 172k a year after they won their most recent union negotiations. They get worked like slaves, are expected to be literally perfect every day, make the company 10x what they're paid, and it's a job that few people are physically cut out to do let alone do for longer than about five years at most. Maybe ten and then you're too old and beat up to keep doing delivery so you get a CDL and go drive semi's instead.

Amazon looks great having a high average hourly wage, people are happy to work for them because of it, and they're still getting 100/hr in value out of those employees if not more so it doesn't matter. No price hikes other than maybe one to keep up with inflation, they already make more money than God and have their entire web services and hosting division to make up for any losses.

Amazon retail operates at -1% margin, so mathematically they get about $20.30/hr of value per employee.

You can do a more detailed look at fixed vs variable costs, and break things down to internally value different roles. Then determine you could distinguish which employees are considered part of profit-center segments and which are a net drag, but on the whole it operates at roughly breakeven.

Americans if anything hate electric vehicles the least and buy them the most, but the whole industry segment gets shit on because of how it's funded and greenwashed. Last time I looked at the figures it was 35-40% of all greenhouse gas emissions in a given year are from the shipping industry alone and 75% of all greenhouse gas emissions are the result of businesses or business-related activity. Your average person with an internal combustion engine vehicle has a negligible impact on pollution and modern internal combustion engines are actually pretty damn efficient at extracting power, people chimp about EV's because they're marketed as being some big green push to save the earth when in reality they just make more sense for most commuters in a city environment that don't take long trips very frequently. There's definitely a market segment for electric vehicles but when they whole thing gets marketed as "EVERYONE HAS TO HAVE AN EV OR WE'RE ALL GONNA FUCKIN' DIE" it's frankly retarded to not expect people to be pissed off about them and hate them and shit on them at every turn.

Urban planning does need to be better. Most people don't need a giant gas-guzzler. But if you don't let them think that deciding to not be an asshole and just buy what they need in a car instead of what they want was their own idea, they'll never do it and will go well out of their way to spite doing it.

The fundamental problem is that the median worker will always make median income. To be worth more there needs to be some edge, or the market competition will just level things back out.
But in the end people can only spend what they make, so for one person to be winning others must be losing, relatively. If everyone makes $15 min wage, no one does, hence $15 is the new $10.

With Amazon in particular, it feels like the workers are doing a lot because it's true. However, all that massive productivity is barely enough to match traditional retail. They've taken an inefficient process of micro scale logistics, and optimized it to the point that it's in line with physical retail. The employees work very hard sorting thousands of items each hour across hundreds of warehouses at once, yet in the end they've achieved a cost efficiency that's merely on par with one big truck making a bulk shipment to a Walmart.

While giving each of those people a job and a purpose and income which then gets turned into tax revenues thus justifying giving the entire company a tax break because it's still a net gain on tax revenues. We're saying a lot of the same things and it's getting lost in translation, you're saying amazon isn't worth much on paper and is inefficient and I'm saying them not being worth much on paper in terms of profit and being inefficient is by design and the entire reason why they work as a company. It's what makes them valuable, it's why they get shitloads in subsidies and tax breaks, and they generate far more profit than a simple balance sheet or even a full-blown audit would reveal at first glance. Amazon makes a fuckload it's just obfuscated.

You completely ignored the point of what I said to just keep pushing the same narrative. Europe had options, they didn't take those options, they got into a shitfit with their main energy supplier, and now their only choice for oil and gas is getting completely shitter-shattered paying way higher prices to buy it from someone geographically close to them that is pissed at them or paying way out the ass for oil and gas from farther away that has to be shipped to them over huge distances so even if the oil and gas is cheap the transport and handling costs make it nearly as pricey and inherently way more risky for supply stability. If Europe didn't want to get beheemed and wanted to side with their traditional energy supplier they could've left NATO. They didn't. It's just not the US's problem.

Not the US problem, but the US plan. Cripple an ally through bribing political parties per their private sector to kill European industry and get them to migrate to the USA. Europes children know who to blame, Americans

The "far right" polls high in the 20% and the entire transatlanticist propaganda is pissing its pants trying to convince Germans to not vote in their best interest. In Austria they gave up, the "far right" is polling nearly into the 30%

Hey, Hitler also started in the 10s, got into the 20s and ended with an absolute majority. Depending on how bad the US bribed parties fuck up Austria economically the ",far right" might get the absolute majority, and that means getting out of the EU and normalizing relationships with Russia

>and ended with an absolute majority.
He never got elected, he was given the Chancellorship as a pity token by the President Paul von Hindenburg, eventually some commie burnt down the Reichstag and the President signed a decree ending basic civil liberties and due process and then went on to issue more ridiculous emergency measures like allowing the Nazi party to pass laws without the consent of the Reichstag as they loved commie bashing (so should everyone really).
