>muh all Link fudders are pajeets
>muh Crypto space would be so much better if everyone would just adopt Chainlink

It is time to look outside your bubble when even the largest and most respected public figures in this space are openly expressing their disdain for your centralized WEF oracle.
Chainlink needs to die for DeFi to succeed.

It's a combination of different reasons that Twitter fags are against Chainlink. Ivan was a Chainlink fanboy and even uses it in his project. But I guess ever since Chainlink started to charge for its services, a lot of projects turned against it (dydx, fringe and I guess Ivan now). The other reason is VCs and their paid jurnos (Jump crypto Pyth and LayerZero). And finally we have the MEV mafia and not wanting their monopoly disturbed. It's all so tiresome.

There is no shortage of "pure Defi" projects. Nobody wants to use them because they always get hacked or liquidated because of minor glitches. The only Defi that anyone wants to use anymore is the kind that is secured by reliable oracles.

he makes some great points. i think with the current downturn, it's a great time to work on this. if the majority of trades does occur on dexes, then no offchain data is needed. so incentives / disincentives should be put in place to promote dex trading. it's an exciting prospect and can be worked on chains independently. that's the future crypto should strive for, not relying on legacy oracle tech forever

it was largely funded by outside money, but unlike a stock offering, buyers of the token don't obtain part ownership of the company. their only incentive is the hope that speculation will increase the price of the token. it's a bit morally iffy for the company to make profits for the founders without giving anything back to token holders. it could be said that they reduce the need for outside funding, but that just leaves original token buyers footing the bill

in other words, the service was already paid for by token buyers. charging money again (without benefiting the original token buyers) for th sole benefit for the founders can be seen as double dipping. chainlink started out giving away their work for free, see for example their source code that binance is using freely now. so chainlink is aware, but they don't care

Um no bro that's not how audits are supposta work they're supposta reveal whether or not the project is a scam. Hes right Chainlink is not real crypto. Satoshi created bitcoin as a break away fair currency as a response to the 2008 banker caused crash. Chainlink are trying to bring these same bankers into crypto to destroy and control it. Chainlink is the enemy of all crypto and you should be against it too it you like freedom and autonomy.

Look, I know the whole market is down right now. Everybody's talking about the "crypto winter", there's a lot of FUD around at the moment. But Scorch is different, it really is the future of money. You hit the nail on the head, bud. With the current market volatility and all the FUD from regulators, I am confident that Scorch is the perfect hedge against it all. Its innovative use case and strong governance make it an attractive investment. Plus, Scorch is completely decentralized and community driven, so there's no way for regulators to kill it off. And with a deflationary token model that rewards holders over time, this is an ideal hold for investors with a long term strategy. So while everyone else is panicking, I'm out here DCAing into Scorch and feeling comfy

Well, you see, as the CEO of Scorch coin, I am an expert on all things crypto. And the fact that Defi uses a centralized oracle, means it’s not trustless. Therefore it’s all just a big scam.
