Just a few months ago, I was only 33% from breakeven. Why does bitcoin torture us like this?

My portfolio swung that violently because I was in a few alts that exit pumped a few months ago (that's when I got to 33% down), but I held like a retard. They proceeded to dump much more violently (most especially recently in the past month or so) and I had to panic sell those alts - if I hadn't panic sold I'd likely be 80% down or more.

I’m down big on my portfolio. I have a couple shitcoins that I’m banking on to get me to my break even price, then I’m grabbing that shit and never coming back. If they rug, then fuck it. Either way, fuck crypto.
