Credit destruction. But if you were smart and financed your car and house in the past few years your good to go. I sometimes wonder if that's where some of this spending spree we saw in the past three years was from anyway. People getting theirs while the getting's good.

What will the lenders do if like 40% of borrowers have no plans to pay these back ontop of an already brewing credit crisis? The assumption normal procedure will follow could be wrong if everything truly gets out of hand like its looking though it might. The whole system could start to explode within less than a year. What then?

the "lenders" for most student loans is the government, so they will just garnish your wages and confiscate any tax returns until it's paid back

Otherwise get on income based repayment. Pay as little as you can, it's not going anywhere. Use your cash for something better.

If you have a license you got from a degree obtained with student loans (like a medical license), they can inactivate it so you can't practice. Which is ironic since then you essentially have no way to earn money to repay the loan. I guess their options are limited and they have to take what they can.

And lastly, I don't know if it's too late but I applied for the Joe "Lyin" Biden Forgiveness Program, and even though it got struck down, I got a further forbearance to December. That gives you time to make targeted paydowns of any loan that's above market interest rate, without any Jew tricks about how excess payments are applied.

serious question. If you get a personal loan then pay off your student loan then file for bankruptcy. Win?
Thank the bank for defaulting on your student loan to the government which they cannot do.

Ask whoever claims to have "loaned" you "money" to provide a certified GAAP accounting statement that shows the source of the funds that were loaned to you, that the lender had these funds on hand for at least 90 days before you applied for the "loan", and that you received money.

That's a good starting point.

Then, consider reading the Federal Reserve Act which they probably never mentioned in school. You'll may discover truths like:

>Senate Document No. 43, 73rd Congress, 1st Session, stated, "Under the new law the money is issued to the banks in return for Government obligations, bills of exchange, drafts, notes, trade acceptances, and banker’s acceptances. The money will be worth 100 cents on the dollar, because it is backed by the credit of the nation. It will represent a mortgage on all the homes and other property of all the people in the Nation." (Which lawfully belongs to these private citizens.)

>The National Debt is defined as “mortgages on the wealth and income of the people of a country.” (Encyclopedia Britannica, 1959.) Their wealth, …. their income.

What does this mean? It means you are the creditor, and it means that whatever is being claimed that you owe is actually owed to you.

So what can you do?

After doing what I suggested initially, you can follow up with one or more of these:

- Tender Payment with a negotiable instrument (that you print out yourself) per UCC 3-603.

- Gather the original loan documents, copy them for your records, then write a letter "To Whom it May Concern" and explain that you are gifting the debt to the US Government for the purposes of reducing the national debt. This is authorized under 31 US Code § 3113.
