First, check if you need to set aside some of that money to pay taxes, funeral bills, or anything like that. After that, it depends on your situation.

If you don't already have a few thousand dollars saved for emergencies, use part of your inheritance for that.

With the remaining money, think about what will give you the highest return on investment. Paying down debt is a good option, especially credit-card debt. Then there are the usual long-term investments: stocks, real estate, bitcoin, and so forth. But maybe you'd get a higher ROI from something more personal:
