Find sectors where these 2 things line up:

1)it tracks inflation
2)the powers-that-be either want it up, or don't mind it going up

Gold, notably, fails #2. Oil too. They'll play all kinds of games to stop it and then change the rules if they start losing ("sorry, no retail buyers allowed, you're gonna crash the economy chud").

Find those things, then stack cash and wait for the crash, and be ready to buy the shit out of them.

I need more descriptions or a pic. First shave your beard. I know you've been working out and there are potential hygiene issues. You can get some antifungal cream (like lamisil OTC) at walgreens, walmart, wherever. The current evidence based practice is to use just the antifungal at first, NOT combined with topical steroids like hydrocortisone. Follow instruction on box. If it persists for two weeks then go to clinic.

Regardless I've had the same issue in the past but it never spread. If there's one thing I can say do not do it's rubbing alcohol. It just dries the skin out more.

Reminder there is no reason for the S&P 500 to rise tomorrow. Nvidia's massive AI revenue is coming from other large technology companies that need Nvidia's hardware to train their AI. The net result is zero gain for the overall economy until AI itself starts generating significant revenues. Nvidia is making bank selling shovels to miners but it won't pay off for the miners until they strike gold which they haven't yet.

It is completely unbelievable to me that AMD has lost this market so hard. AMD's version of CUDA is so god awful its not even funny but the real insane part is its just some software that isn't that difficult to write on paper. AMD has the hardware part down, their top of the line silicon can certainly compete / get close to NV offerings but no AI/ML researchers touch AMD with a 10 foot pole because of their horrible software. Software that again, is *relatively* easy to write. And AMD has lost BILLIONS of dollars because of this shit.

So if you're AMD, why the fuck aren't you shoveling dump trucks full of money to get the AI/ML software toolkit up to par? Also salty side take: I can't believe I missed out on yet another money printing stock.

Hardware wise AMD GPUs aren't that far off the mark. That's why its so crazy, nvidia's valuation isn't like NV has some magic technology no one can hope to get. AMD has fab access, and their hardware on paper is competitive. Its not 100% as good for sure, but its definitely competitive.

And all it would take to make all the datacenters want to use it is software. That's the crazy part the magic is just in implementing some software. And this software isn't even hard to write, the hard stuff -- the actual drivers -- that shit is already done and AMDs drivers are open source and have *much* better compatibility with Linux which all these ML/AI datacenters and researchers use. BUT AMD's part of the software that lets other software and developers use it is fucking GARBO. And its been garbo for a long time. And it'd take like, maybe a team of 10-20 highly skilled people to get it where it needs to be. So literally just pay these devs $1M each, poach them from nvidia if you have to and fix your software stack, The hardware is already there, its WAITING for good enough software so the market that's 10X bigger than gaming can adopt it.

And yet its fucking pindrop silence from AMD.

AMD makes both CPUs and GPUs, for all use cases, not only gaming. They have HPC and professional hardware lines. Again its just the bizarre lack of good quality user-facing APIs for ML and AI on their GPUs ... that's the only thing I can think of for the difference in NV literally printing billions of dollars and AMD getting completely cucked. AMD literally has a line for HPC and AI (Radeon Instinct) but they completely fucked themselves over software support.

AMD can't into raytracing at the hardware level. You can do raytracing on their cards but it's basically just forcing it by throwing GPU cores at it rather than having cores dedicated to doing raytracing and leaving the rest of the chip for raster rendering which is most of what goes on each frame. The other software stuff for their difficulties with AI/ML is entirely separate from that but even for gaming they're still second-rate products compared to Nvidia.

AMD basically solely exists so that Intel and Nvidia don't get slammed with monopoly suits, their purpose has never been to actually compete as a company with either of those two it's been to make an almost-ran alternative that isn't quite as good as the best but is a lot cheaper. I've been building gaming computers for more than twenty years now and aside from a few years that were the exceptions that proved the rule it's always been better to go with intel and nvidia for cpu's or gpu's respectively.

I told everyone yesterday that NVDA determines the short-term economic outlook and market sentiment. If you had told me 10 years ago that NVDA, of all companies, would be the KING to whom everyone has to bow, I would laugh in your face... but now?

Another problem with NVDA and their competitors is that investors now have way too much money and everyone is willing to shill out top-buck for the best of the best quality. Cutting costs and going for worse alternatives (like AMD or Intel) will cost you a lot in the long run. No, you want the best and will pay for it. If you want to remain at the top of the game, you will want the best hardware with the best software and most intuitive solutions. Even if NVDA costs twice that of AMD, you will go for NVDA.

NVDA does sell that stuff to consumers. They own like 75% of the GPU market share for the consumer discretionary segment. They also have the best AI chips on the planet and don't export their top of the line stuff for security concerns, even when they do export it it's tarrifed out the ass and subject to scrutiny. If everyone and their mom is throwing billions at AI then NVDA is going to make bank whether or not everyone and their mom actually does anything with AI. They have the best hardware for processing it, they own the consumer and enterprise and research markets, and they're literally a monopoly that only doesn't catch a case because AMD exists and can make something almost as good for way less money. Again, the CEO's of both NVDA and AMD are almost directly related.

It's funny eh? The war is one big front for inflation and war profiteering (as it always is for the past 40 years). If they truly wanted to end the war or prevent it, the US or NATO would move in some forces into Ukraine and Russia would have no choice but to pull back. Nah, instead let's draw this out for years and maybe decades by sending in some equipment, few air-planes, some rocket launchers, and so on. Just what in fegg? Complete disregard for human life just so Lockheed Martin and SAAB can have some business (oversimplification, I know).
Imagine fighting a war which is being broadcast on the internet, where you can see that literally nobody gives a crap about you or your country.
It's what it is, just an inflationary event serving as an excuse for gubbermints around the world to do as they please. Sure sure, the world-wide massive inflation is Putin's fault, and has nothing to do with the fact that central banks printed massive amounts of money in a single year.

this but more like a slow climb to around 7.5% on rates while everyone gets hosed by inflation as bonds get unheemed so we don't all eventually kill each other to the last calling in repayments on old debts. It's not a coincidence that economic turbulence precedes wars and continues through them.

>FOKUS 1 – Europäische Börsen profitieren von KI – Hype um Nvidia 11:32
>Frankfurt, 24.

China hates Japan and has for basically forever, they shit on them and vice-versa basically every time there's an opportunity. I'd have been surprised if they didn't @ them over the wastewater release even if it has been treated and is a literal drop in the ocean compared to what's regularly dumped in it.
