Who the fuck doesn't immediately replace the paper towels when they run out? That's the kind of shit mentality that broke his ass. He probably does the same thing with his toilet paper and has to use lint and Kleenex from the bathroom trash because he couldn't be bothered (didn't have the foresight) to replace the roll when it ran out. If you wanna know whether or not someone is capable of great things look at how they do the little ones because great people understand that the little things in life add up to the big ones.

This is not uncommon. I know someone who made $8M and blew through it in no time.
Remember folks, you are purposefully not taught things like accounting and finance and budgeting in school for a reason. Also remember that the "middle class" has a desperate need to signal status to one another. Poor and rich people don't need to do this. It is the person who gets a high paying job who feels compelled to bite off more than he can chew in terms of his car, house and hobbies because god forbid you be mistaken for simply middle class and not upper middle class.
Also, achieving a millionaire status is a nice benchmark but I think some people drastically overestimate just how much money that is. It's only 1000x $1000.

demonstrably untrue lol. the reason luxury cars and large houses became status symbols is because rich people bought them

This guy was a male escort who started his watch business pitching it to one of his millionaire clients while he was catching bareback from him.

All of his profiles are leaked

So, basically, 1 million usd is not a lot of money in 2023. You need around 30 million usd these days to 'feel' rich.

Being rich is not just about having a lump sum of money but often a repeating source of income. With proper budget you can actually live quite well with very little money. The need to be "rich" is all in your head and exactly what I was talking about with what is wrong with the psychology of middle class peasants. The old saying is quite compelling that a fool and his money are soon parted. If you had $200,000 land in your pocket right now you should theoretically be able to last it the rest of your life if you're smart. Most people would rather consume it like arcade tickets rather than a nice chunk of financial capital.

The thing is, being a multimillionaire and driving a 2006 honda accord just feels silly.

I know that bezos and zuckerberg drive shitboxes, but they consoom in more extravagant ways. This /biz/ idea that most rich people are hiding in plain sight hoarding money and driving toyotas is just untrue.

Why? That's just middle-class need to signal that you have your money. The trick is to have money and not give it away like a retard. Most people you see with expensive cars and houses often have garbage financials because their big paychecks go straight out the door as soon as they get it. Think about how much money you lose when you drive a new car off the lot. Like half of the value just evaporates. A lot of new cars are even $30k-$75k each. I think that is far too much money to shell out for the sake of status. And that is one of many opportunities people have to squander their wealth. People buy that shit even when they are only middle class because it makes them LOOK wealthy. They are too dumb to know the difference.
