Go look at your local market on Case Schiller. Mine looks like the meme market cycle chart.

>move to Florida
>can't even get home insurance because all the insurance companies are pulling out
>get wrecked by hurricane

Don't you realize this will sort of balance out. If house prices go down in those places people are leaving, people will begin to move there.

I generally agree but Florida sucks and Texas is tolerable in very few places at best. Also how do I profit from this?

We had a huge surge during COVID. Ct flipped from the state with one of the largest amount of people leaving, to having one of the largest amount of people entering. I think all the metro young folks are starting to miss the hustle and bustle of the city because houses aren't going for $500k anymore.

I bet a lot of the Texas people are feeling regrets after experiencing 30 days above 100F. I can't wait to get the fuck out of here

Interesting chart. I live in mass and the opposite feels true. Feels much more like more and more people are coming and there’s more competition for jobs and apartments.

I just saw a house in a shitty part of Lakewood go for 800k. Even my parents shitty townhouses are going for 500k and they arent even close to Denver, despite seeing endless 'for sale' signs compared to a couple years ago. Colorado is still fucked bros

You cannot undo inflation. The dollar will continue to lose value, adding to the already exponential appreciation of homes. The best dip future generations will get is total boomer death, maybe in 15 years.
