Read Solzhenitsyn's 200 Years Together and stfu. The Tsars gave countless benefits to jews in Russia in an effort to assimilate them into society so they wouldn't just be lazing around in their shtetls scamming the christian Polish peasants one village over. That's quite naive. Major share-owners seldom sell; they take out loans collateralized by shares, so that it's technically debt. Most shares don't even pay dividends.

The natural group for humans are tribes. A Nation state is already a stretch because it usually incorporate different tribes divided in north, south, east and west with their own customs and traditions, that often historically have fought with each other. Sometimes/often it incorporate people of different ethnicity that do not want to be part of a nation.
Therefore a nation is more of an "idea" or identity people gather around and as for Germany it was a very young nation at the time and have gone through many transformations, they're still German by blood. So the idea of becoming a third Reich was pretty natural to them.
