It depends on what model/SD you're using.

For my Jiemis I use Counterfeit v30 model that can be found at CivitAI and I run it on NMKD diffuser. (Automatic 1111/Dreambooth/MidJourney will probably give you a better result but NMKD was easier to set up and run locally imo)

For more realistic renders I use HasanBlend and realisticVision v30 (yeah I'm a coomer) but these will render realistic faces/bodies extremely well so long as you're not getting to crazy with prompts.

For fixing eyes/face make sure to select the CFPGAN/Codeformer setting under post-processing. On NMKD this setting is top right as a little wand icon. I set my face restoration strength to .45-.5 and play with it depending on just how fucked up the original render is. If you're doing realistic renders but still getting butterfaces I recommend working ontop of an existing image or placing a real image ontop of your sketch.

Hands/Toes/Limbs are a bit harder. In picrel if you compare the Jiemis you can see how I colored in her outfit, eyes, and even hands. For Not Flat Jiemi, her hand had to be slowly redrawn in PS and then running the diffuser with prompts like [fingers, perfect, soft skin, skin] etc. NGL hands are frustrating to deal with, sometimes you'll get lucky and the render gives you near perfect hands you can just smooth out but more often than not it's a marathon of small improvements. (same goes for eyes)

For eyes, usually one eye is near perfect. What I'll do is copy that and place ontop of the wonky eye and smooth it over and I get a better output.

For an initial render I do anywhere from 3-20 images at 512 x 512. Euler Ancestral, CFG: 12, Steps: 30. I tend to get a really good foundation and scale up and build from here. This works with Counterfeit model and even Hasan/realisticVision

Guy, trust me on this but we WILL MAKE IT. The giga amount of short interest is being obfuscated and hidden through swap contracts held in the back books of Brazilian hedge fund shell companies where the regulations are extremely lax about being transparent with positions they hold. The shorts were all transferred there and it’s only a matter of time before all the big banks have to cover. We already took down Credit Suisse this way and it’s only just starting. Nobody believes that the big guys are still holding shorts and paying for them despite the first squeeze. That wasn’t the real thing since they never covered as explained above. The premiums on their shorts is killing them slowly which is how the whole thing with regional banks in the US crashing started. For positive prompts I'll do something like

When inpainting a specific part I'll restart my prompts and keep the above and emphasize sections. For example:

If you're going for realistic renders positive prompts like:

It helps to "build up" to a render as most renders will not give you a 100% perfect output. Inpainting specific parts lets you get as close to perfect depending on subject/model/prompt etc. When I inpaint I do it by parts and only 2-3 at a time to avoid overwhelming myself with small changes. My image strength varies but I mostly keep it a .45-.5 then up the strength to really dial in on a perfect render. My prompts get hyperspecific as well. For example: focusing on her skin, bodypart, fabric, fabric color, removing wrinkles, etc to really get a close to perfect output.

A parallel step to inpainting is recoloring/drawing in PS. For example: Jiemi will almost always be rendered with a dark green polo. So I have to go in PS and recolor her classic outfit. I'll continue this process back and forth between different renders dialing my render in SD while recoloring what I need to on PS.

Lastly, Jiemis bolt goes in the end. I used to draw it on PS or MS paint then inpainting on SD but realized I can do it on PS via the pen tool and I could manipulate it exactly how I want. I then bold outline my Jiemi, add a glow to her bolt and post for fellow frens.

Additional notes:
Things like fabric I always color in PS then set my opacity to something like ~50 and then inpainting with my positive prompts [fabric, color, fabric color]
For example:

My negative prompt would be something like wrinkles or torn, stained, etc.
The reason for the opacity set up is I want to mitigate wildly different renders from SD. My image strength range for inpainting is something like .5 - .9 and that's because I want to keep as much as the natural folds/wrinkles in the fabric/skin, etc. SD LOVES to just fuck your shit up, in the case of Jiemi sometimes it renders her with a bra despite the negative prompt or her shirt is torn to pieces trying to achieve [busty, underboob] prompts.

For my foundation render I always try to initial render it with a white background as my positive prompt. This makes a clear render without any abstract background artifacts and makes it easy to make it transparent once you have your final render.

A quirk of my set up is colored background or a black background will "stain" the render. Sometimes renders will come out darker than intended or the linework is stained with that color. Hugging Jiemi for instance has subtle yellow line work and thats because I fucked up and had the base render as a yellow background.

Lastly, I would just play with it extensively with prompts, models, and render settings. The settings I posted above work the best for my set up and thats after trial and error but there's TONS of different diffusers, models and settings. You might come across one that is solely unique to your "AI style" that can really make your render stand out.
