Not recently. They're getting outclassed by other L1's

At the end of the day everyone announces a Tether partnership as being the best thing ever. Turns out that the most liquid asset is the one that's going to win in the end, further legitimizing its existence. At this point USDT is too big to fail.

native usdt doesn't mean much it's just less annoying to transfer stuff from atom based platforms to usdt so less slippage etc

Probably. Kava in general has been pushing really hard to take the helm in Cosmos' defi growth (millions of dollars for a dedicated program to reward developers for building in Cosmos, native USDT flow, ERC-20 interoperability, etc). There's a good chance they'll manage to turn things around and turn Cosmos into a really good L1 I guess, but only time will tell.

Also gas all the anime faggots in this thread.

What the fuck does Cosmos have anyways? All the major defi platforms run on Ethereum. Do they have their own Uniswap/AAVE equivalents? I don't think so.

ATOM was largely unaffected even with terra labs out of the question so I wouldn't listen too much to the naysayers going on and on about cosmos being obsolete etc. AVAX is fucking obsolete and Solana is a glorified gaming hub now, Cosmos can easily become the #1 blockchain for defishit of all kind.

Hey, at least Cosmos doesn't shit the bed with 5 concurrent transactions like Solana does.

So now it's up to actual developers to really bring value to their chain. Whether that actually ends up happening or not is yet to be seen, however.

Can't wait for 750 million worth of liquidity to be given to a bunch of monkeys copypasting GitHub repositories to import the exact same five tired stake/lend/borrow platforms just to get paid for it lol same shit happened to Injective and they went nowhere.

Isn't $SOL supposed to be the fastest one? Their validator program isn't fully unique since other L1's have it too. I do have to agree that Kava could potentially help them regain relevancy though.

tron is def faster
and more money on it
i dont use it much but its built for gaming so not decentralized but it is fast
same as sol but better
but sol does do rust smart contracts
but thats retarded because thats not the point of financial based smart contracts.
doesn't need to be able to do anything
thats what off chain compute with things like LINK are
fuck SOL
