Legit know of 3 people who can't live with parents, they're all in bad shape.

>One is from abusive family, lives with some stoner roommate who never cleans, works fulltime at wagie mcjob, constantly stressed/pissed off and can barely save money
>Second is addicted to fent and is on-and-off homeless
>Third is also from abusive family and grew up in foster homes, is on gibs, never gets replies from job applications and always talks about killing himself

Unironically if you have a good family you should appreciate them more, most who have bad ones are NGMI especially as economies become even more globohomo.

You're not going to like my advice, but it's the ONLY surefire way to actually make it imo.
>Get forklift certified. It's cheap and can be done in one day, or a week if you want to be able to work every type.
>Pursue the best paying job you can possibly get and BE SURE to discuss the whole overtime scenario, and if they're "no no" on overtime then TELL them that if they hire you, that you will not be available for overtime work because you are going to....
>Get a second job that also pays well.

So that's two jobs or one that guarantees A LOT of overtime. Then save save save up that money and you can either move up to trucking full time (and I'm talking OTR, with no home time) OR...and this is what I did, I took all of my saved up money, got my real estate license and then just threw myself at the business. I was actually a trucker for a little while too but driving 11 hours a day will destroy your body, so I made the switch.

With that said, real estate is no easy task. I work about 18-20 hrs a day, every single day and sometimes even beyond that. I'd normally be sleeping right now but I'm literally waiting for a client to call me when they get home from work so I can schedule my day with them tomorrow.

Keywords here: Work yourself to death and save.

Once people see that you're a workaholic (and dependable; don't be late ever) they'll start calling you nonstop. There's no "easy way" unless you're very very lucky. You literally have to live to work. I'm 38 and have the John McCain hair....but hey I'm making about 100k a year and once I open my own property management and start a security company with my cousin, hopefully I can crank that up to 250k.

Best wishes.

Okay OP so this is the attitude that will keep you in the hole. No working at McDonald's and gambling on crypto isn't going to FOR SURE make you well off....I mean, you could get lucky. Obviously, anyone can get lucky. I know a chick that did some type of IT program that she found out about and she's making 200K a year working from home. Sure I mean, you could go to school and become a doctor or some shit, but you know, that chick works 7 days a week and doctors work like maniacs as well. Selling a house to a doctor is the hardest motherfucking thing a realtor can do because they are ALWAYS working, and they're pissed off about it.

There's no fucking easy way to "make it" unless, again, you're very very lucky. The format I described is what worked for me, and it was very low risk. It just simply involved me working a lot, but then again there's a beautiful feeling about working like that. Something I can't really explain.

That's not luck dude, women are 49 times more likely to be hired than men in general. The reason your thing works is because only jobs that are too complex to give to women, too undesirable or too physically strenuous (yours) go to men. The 'soft' lower skill office jobs where they just have to answer phones and google computer problems go to women since if they fuck up they just transfer to some other person in the call center who knows what they're doing.

>a few very successful people but the median is doing totally fine.
Define "fine". The median yearly income is around 53k pre-tax, which gives a net income of 40k. Monthly, this is around 3.3k. On a 500k apartment (cheapest you will get in an urban area these days) at 10% down, this gives a monthly payment of around 3k, almost all of the monthly earnings. Same with rents.
>It's a very different picture than the total hopelessness the rest of the thread is presenting.
If you're making the median income in a rural LCOL area, you're maybe okay, but urban areas are fucked unless you're far above the median and that's where the majority of jobs are. Maybe you're not in an urban center, which skews your perception.

As an autistic wagie with a worthless degree living alone, the answer is spend almost nothing on anything other than essentials, and pray you don't get sick or have your shitbox car break. You also don't have health insurance, because your employer offers an "affordable" plan.
I'm so fucking close to just blowing my brains out, this isn't worth it. Honestly, the only reason I haven't is that I told a therapist I wouldn't a few years ago.

My buddies who are living with their folks are doing just fine, and constantly pestering me to go eat and do stuff with them. God I wish that was an option, and even when I did live at home, my folks still charged me rent.

Debt, roommates, parents. I’m with you though. I’m thirty and only making $50k per year. I can barely afford a studio in my city.

Same but I’m 30 now and it feels like shit. I didn’t have to but I did it to save money. I got to get out of here ASAP.

this is true. But if you have your own place and some money than it's super easy to get a younger gf. I'm 32 dating an 18 year old. She lives in my apartment cooking cleaning and being essentially a wife but I don't have to worry about losing half my money to divorce

My mom takes all my money when I live with her. constantly asking for help with this and that, and it adds up to more than if I just rented my own place. People actually get to live with their parents for free?

Hi im from poor country and i need to give me opinion since im recently in here.

USA best country for money, you work 8 hours you go home, some time you stay extra, YOU GET MORE EXTRA MONEY! Pizza as well one time.

Work is easy as roofist, you place the black things in roof people give you money. 20 by hour, KACHING!!! $$$

House is cheap if you drive an hour to work, food costs cheaper then in my country. COSTCO MORE CHEAPER THAN IN MY COUNTRY!

Police once lets me go if I have no license, didn not have to give them money, they free me for no money.

Black people lazy white people afraid, if you work more versus them (easy) they call you things. No matter hah, they will not be live for too much (police encounters).

Overround, Americans are complainers, I like USA very much

The only option is making 6 figures and spend it all to stay alive, or make 50k and live with a partner, or live with roomates at entry level/parents.

I work a 17$/hr job for fresh grads trying to get into healthcare. Everyone in the lab (~40 ppl) lives with parents, partners, or roomates. NO ONE can afford to live alone.

If you want to live alone on a 30-50k salary, you gotta move abroad and economic arbitrage. The american dream is now living in thailand making 3-4k a month and living how you were supposed to live in America before the kikes sold your future to the lowest bidder.

Our parents could support dad, mom, and a kid or two with an entry level job after college. It's over.

get a fucking college degree you loser, and i mean a decent one not some communications bullshit. if you go to college and get a decent degree and still can’t make 65k+ your first job you are never going to make it. that’s ~4500 a month after tax if you can’t live on that shoot yourself you waste of space

> Get a better job

Do you not even turn on the tv Mr Boomer? Have you seen the mass layoffs from white collar? The 300 people lineups for 1 mcdonalds job stories?

You simply lived in a different better time than us who were unlucky to be born in this shit-stained modern landscape. You got in on the housing market when houses were 1/10 of the price they are at now.
