My family knows i work with finances, just not the specifics (crypto trading). So now im thought as a pilar of economic thinking and good financial management whenever my family talks about me. This has led to many of my dad's friends to eventually ask me for financial advice. I always tell them exactly what to do to get out of whatever troubles they have and i make sure they join my telegram group to "discuss finance with other people".
It was all fun and games, there wasn't really calls or anything like that since most of them were office and construction workers who didn't invest in anything in their whole lives but there was constant talks about investing in a crypto project as a group. Some scammers joined with some pyramid schemes but i insta banned them (im the only mod)
I eventually used this to my advantage, created a token, infiltrated the group with an alt account(+600 people since it was open for invitation) and made sure to hype everyone for two whole months. A lot of people credmaxxed, some even took loans and i even faked like i (original account) bough 20k.
Meanwhile with the dev wallet i purchased almost half of the total collected mcap.
Coin launched, big x10 pump, everyone was celebrating. I let the chart go for the whole night, no one sold. As soon as i saw the tg go silent i sold everything.
You can guess what happened later. Needless to say, i even faked my scamming and no one blamed me. Chat dissolved, family still respects me.
