So, who's up for the task here to prove their research/tracking skills?

>> No.55588524

Right now I seriously doubt anyone here would be willing to go through all the effort of tracking down this supposed "hacker" (implying it wasn't SBF himself rugging his own platform, lmfao)

Also, forgot to mention this:
>30 days to do this while only being able to use publicly available data
WTF were they thinking? if they haven't been able to do this by now what makes them think it'll happen outta nowhere just because they're offering a shitty incentive? come the fuck on

holy based.
never store a substantial amount of your crypto on CEXs unless you really need that liquidity to make some quick trades and/or take advantage of arbitrage opportunities and you're pretty much golden

>10k arkm for this
holy molly. how would one realistically find the answers to something like this? i mean a lot of people believe (me included) believe sam was behind this "hack" too and if that could be confirmed we are looking at more jail time for a billionaire.

It's a challenge for a reason. I personally think it would be hilarious to see someone actually pull it off just because they made a platform to collect some cashies for those willing to LARP as crypto vigilantes. Lmao.

Arkham Intel.
You can take bounties to investigate people of interests and potential scams. If you can prove your investigation, you get paid. That's all.

Lol. Lmao, even.
>>55588638
And why exactly is this supposed to be such a big deal? It's not like bounties are anything new but I guess "tokenizing" shit that didn't need to be tokenized will always be crypto's main gimmick

>> No.55588687

>>55588610
I also think Sam did it realizing his scheme was completely falling apart very fast.

I'd start by finding wallets moving a lot of money to something private like Monero or something. I think you can't track what goes out after you buy XMR, but you can track what goes in. Was Tornado Cash a thing when the whole FTX thing was going on? Because I'd also look at that as a potential place for Sam to move all his cash into in order to launder it all.

All of this happened around November 22 so it's a lot of wet work but I think the most reliable way to start would be taking the provided wallets in the bounty, then start snooping around anonymous blockchains. See if a lot of money on a coin like that was bought that month, and at least 2/3 months before November 2022.

How do you even track down a single individual (assuming it isn't a whole team) for this stuff in the first place when XMR is pretty much untraceable in the first place?

As I said, look at BIG wallets buying a lot of Monero around that time. Also the bounty page itself provides wallets suspected to be involved so start there obviously.

Just my two cents though. I don't have the time to do this at all but it's fun to speculate.
