I earn 50k in London and can barely afford to rent a 1 bedroom apartment.

How are people supposed to make it in this country? Wtf.

Work London job remote and live in the countryside
It's over for anything else unless you already own your home

live with your parents, you do have parents right?

I was making that up north 5 years ago, it isn't a lot for London. Can you get a raise?

Make £80k in a nice lil town.
Pretty comfy.

My parents are Jehovah's Witnesses. I stopped believing in their nonsense and according to Jdub rules I have to be shunned by Jdubs. So my parents shunned me. I don't have that option.

>>55542819
That was my rise.

>>55542819
How was rent then? Now it's a shit show. Zone 6 is now charging £1.5k pm for a small 1 bed apartment. My parents were renting a 3 bed for £1.2k before the bought their house in 2014. This is an absolute shit show.

>>55543037
If it was that easy anon. I'm learning Rust so I can work from home 24/7 for £80k.

Why don't you WFH somewhere that isn't an overpriced shithole?

Share a flat with people for a few years, retard
I lived in a 450 quid room in Hackney for a few years, it was worth it. I made much less than you. Stop whining

Because everywhere is overpriced, even kust outside London. Reading is cheaper but the journey will kill me. I also don't own a car because I thought of losing more money to it hurts. I want to clear my debts before I purchase one. I had to borrow a lot of money to survive the first year after being kicked out of my parent's house for being an unbeliever. I have £5k to go and should clear it in 2 years.

Step 1) Don't like in London
>t. Earn £75k WFH in North West and mortgage is 650pm

Shrimple

>> No.55543987

>>55543887
I did that already and I am not doing it again. Even if I save what will happen then? House prices are rising faster than I am able to earn. I would have lived in a shit hole for 2 years only to find out I still can't afford a house.

>> No.55544039

You already know what you need to do. Earn more, or move somewhere cheaper. Shrimple as.

Nice, I'm a software engineer. I like Rust but don't typically get to use it for work.

They are not. They are supposed to leave so that expats of all the former colonies move in expecting a Great Britain. They have been sold a lie.

I make $100k in America Midwest and barely can afford all of my bills. Medical bills, student loans, had to get a new washer and dryer so credit card debts. Food is fucking ridiculous. I don’t even know why I work anymore.
