So how does Nevada Copper look as a penny stock? An anon was asking about it and PAN MAN said they have serious infrastructure set up.
I called Nevada Copper and they said they start mining this year and are hiring like crazy. They said they're sitting on the biggest copper reserve in the U.S. and also have silver and gold.
So is this a potential moonshot, like a 30x investment opportunity?

BRICS WAGMI

>> No.55505837

>>55505181
It's a bit confusing what's meant by this proposed gold backed currency or commodity backed currency. Will the currency be exchangable for a fixed amount of gold or other commodities? I doubt they would put those restrictions on themselves. Maybe they just mean gold backed because the BRICS countries are all building their gold reserves and value gold as the main reserve.
I think gold could be used as money in the future at some point, but that's longer term.

With the next leg up to $2,100+, I am going to sell out of all my holdings in any losers. I am hoping the pump in price will allow me to either break even or even come out with some semblance of a profit. Part of me has debated selling out now, and taking harsher losses in the short term, then putting that into my winners. Just in case those winners continue to outshine those losers anyway and would end up better profit. Any opinions? What about you guys, any game plans?

By the way, what about Blue Lagoon? I know it still has one or two fans here, but I am considering putting it in the loser group to be sold.

True, CBs are moving towards gold. But I doubt they would bind a currency to gold at this point, it just limits them. I think they will just keep using their own currencies while stacking gold. Gold price and reserves will rise over time giving gold more and more power in the global financial system and at some point parties will starting using it to trade because it has become such a large and stable asset class.

TPR is realistically the only play here for them to choose not just because of the best dome, but because of the time frame alone.
They're way further into the game than the newcomers who still need to drill to validate the domes and hydrogen should be up and running by 2025.
All of the copycat companies can get fucked.

Gary seems to want to give safe advice with the likes of GDX and GDXJ. That is fine, but GDXU isn't that that much risker. I guess in case it goes down he doesn't want to have panic sellers seeing the big red numbers from 3x leverage and jumping out, then getting mad at him later.

With that said, he likes XLE and OIH for oil. Is there something better?

>> No.55532875

>>55532826
I was thinking about this a couple of minutes ago and here is my thought.

In this market it's all algorithms, etfs, and masses of normie morons. There's virtually no point in stock picking because usually you will under perform i think to be successful in this market you have to follow fund flows vecause this market is too fucking stupid and too fucking broken to make money stock picking.

Having said that. Stock picking works, but you have to make sure you pick the eight ones. You have to make sure they are solid.

One strategy I like to employ is go onto an etf and look at the holdings. You have a prefiltered list right there of stocks that were "good enough" to be selecting by this fund and then you go through that list filtering further looking for specific criteria such as good torque and small market caps.

Then when the etfs rip as the sector turns into your favor, you get double torque as the underlying stock you picked rips even higher.

So Gary's mentality is probably similar. He's a great trader and can make money in any market. Today is evidence of another one of his fantastic calls which is why I subscribe to his newsletter. He doesn't nee d to pick stocks because he can make money just swinging general trades.

However I do stock pick and maintain a curated list of companies in my portfolio. I haven't kept up on oil for about a year, but if I had to pick one stock for explosive gains I would say athabasca oil.

Gary also says that oil is putting in a bottom right now and so over the next month we should be looking for entry opportunities. So good to think and talk about this now.

>> No.55533018

>>55532875
Yep. Athabasca is certainly a pick. I agree with Gary and his individual company risk though. We of all people learned this shit the hard way. I made a rule for myself to minimize individuals to never be beyond 50% of my total holds. Etfs may never give a 100x, but most miners don't and just lose and dilute. While I would certainly include Athabasca, I no longer would not want it to be a big percent of my portfolio and rather leave that for an etf. Even the most solid guys can bite you in the ass and plummet 10-30% in a minute. I don't want to deal with that anymore. That's why even if I do get some individual oil, I also want to feel secure with a big return etf.

Hell, some etf outperform individuals. GDXU today outshined any of my gold guys. That might change as we go on, but its a great example that etfs are not just "boring boomer investments", and are able to perform.

On the topic, might as well ask about silver. Looking over my holding today, my only silver left are Herclues, Abra, and Avino. Is there someone I should add? I absolutely have enough gold, both in etf and individuals.

I have Hercules, Abra, and avino and I think they performed excellently today. I wish I had a gdxu posistion lol. I will try to get one tomorrow. I also like i-80 gold but there's a lot to research on that company if you want to buy them because they do have a lot of information and possible problems. I also like gogold.

In all my time on cmmg I consider Abra, gogold, and avino to be some of the best junior miners but I also haven't heard of every company or done extensive research on a ton of companies. Moreso, those three miners I have seen very smart well reputable people recomend and then I dug through the companies and tried to find glaring problems and I couldn't find any. Then I analyzed their market caps and potential returns during a bull market and I think they will secession all perform.

Companies I have a favorable opinion of or semi favorable.

Impact -owner is an asshole but they do produce silver. They were the biggest performer of the last bull.

Kootenay silver - great project but owners are diluting faggots. Retarded cheap market cap.

Silver one- great project. Great jurisdiction but owners are faggots of the highest degree.

Dolly varden- great project very high reactivity to silver bull markets but owner is a giant cock gaggling faggot.

If you buy GDXU, are you gonna wait for a dip or just grab a ticket knowing it will go up?

I would not hold anything with bad management. You need volume to go up, and these companies with poor history are red flags to a lot of people in the sector. They burned people so much everyone knows it. It's hard to reel in new suckers and I believe proven companies will prevail in the long run.

I have 200 oz silver, 3 oz gold, 1 oz platinum. I would have loved to have a treasure chest, but I think miners are way more upside. Better to have miners and then use that to buy more physical after the bubble pops. I think Gary said metals would outperform if certain things were going on in the word. I forgot what he said. I am sure if it happens he will tell us to toss miners and just do like gld.

Of course a small part of me wonders if there is no bubble, but instead this is day 1 of the new world order and metals become priceless. But that's way out in schizo lands.

the minimum quality demanded of gold that covers 99% or maybe even 100% of its uses is four nines -- i have never come across an industrial use of gold where the input can be lower quality than that, even if what they do with it is blend it to make the final product, like for heat shielding.
the minimum quality demanded of silver, however, is something like 70%. this means that secondary supply is absolutely massive and mostly uncounted for. the hunt brothers failed to corner the market back when literally 1000x what they ever bought was totally available, but unaccounted, because it happened to be sitting in americans' kitchen and jewelry drawers.
they lost to fucking spoons. literally.
the situation is the same today, the silver is just hidden elsewhere. that huge historical gold:silver ratio that goes back to the 1700s or whatever is meaningless. it ain't coming back. we accidentally find silver all the fucking time.
i don't know what's going on right now or what the near future is for silver, but "silver miners" have never been riskier. if a company mines a bunch of shit and silver is a component of the portfolio, that's safer.

I still think PMs will go down before they start their real sustainable uptrend to the +2k.
CPI won't stay down if commodities inflate at all, especially regarding the energy sector which is what's happening.
PMs are trading inverse to the dollar and the powers that be can't keep on letting the dollar slide down for too long or they'll reinflate the absolute fuck out of everything and they won't be able to catch up at all with their pussified approach.
Fed is stupid and cowardly and it's beneficial to bet on the higher ups constant stupidity, but there's a fine line between that and flat out suicidal.
My take on this is that this is just another fakeout to the upside in many commodities, but the fed is going to get a far more hawkish stance on the system because they simply have to.
Besides they haven't been able to curb demand at all, economy and consumer is still way too strong.
If they let reinflation run at all without trying to play catch up right from the get go, they'll be in the deepest shit in human history and have to be even harder on the system in the future.

the value of silver wont be realized until economic collapse hits. until then it will prob bounce around. if it goes up radically it means dominos.

just hodl it and forget about it. waste of time to price check. silver will let you know when it goes up, you don't have to check.

Do coal and oil have a future in the US? The NYT has an article arguing that this decade will see both commodities decline hugely.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/energy-transition-underway-fossil-fuel-113911143.html

Are they right? And is the "green transition" going to last or fizzle out? Is it only working due to subsidies?

>> No.55556216

>>55556032
coal and oil arent going anywhere for a long while yet. The instant green transition is bullshit for a number of reasons, but one being that heavy industry still needs hydro carbons to make so much of our modern world i dont have time to list them.
Coal (especially metallurgical coal) is not going away as we need it for pure carbon in steel manufacturing. We will probably slowly see society move towards wider adoption of EV but oil / gas and coal are not vanishing any time soon.

I still hold ONLY the best miners just in case, but a majority of allocation is in etfs. They have a good little operation and are making a nice income but they have about all the debt they can handle. They make about 120m In revenue and they have about 150m in debt. That's about as much debt I believe any company should be able to take on, one year of revenues so they're pretty maxed out in that regard.

However, their market cap is 80m and their enterprise value is 300m so its a great value based on that alone. They also just refinanced their debt and went from having to pay 15% interest all the way down to 6% so that's a huge deal.

I like it. Not rushing to buy it but it looks good. (Not a recomendation)
