we are already knee deep in a fucking recession, meanwhile cnbc is telling people everything is fine, the hammer is getting ready to drop on the markets.

He's in his 30s with multiple degrees and is struggling to get a job that pays much more than 20 per hour. I have a feeling things are kinda fucked, and it seems like we're now in a period that was similar to 2008 to 2014, when pay was low and getting a job was actually a serious challenge

Prices need to be lower kek.

All these boomer-run genx-managed businesses are going under because everyone over 50 grew up and lived in 'the good times' and never ever thought that hard times would come for realsies. Millennials are just now starting to buy houses and most are priced out by the millennials who got in 2019-2021 before prices went retarded high and rates fucked them out of loans. Why would they want to live like boomers did and buy a new car every few years?

This is why the whole thing is so funny with boomgolians seething "you don't DESERVE 20 bucks, you gotta EARN IT" even if it's a 'mid level' job or whatever- the economy NEEDS millennials (and zoomers) to be paid a lot when they're young and willing to spend, because that's how a consumer economy grows. But boomers want it both ends, plus the cake- they want low costs for themselves, but high profits, so they have this dipshit idea they can pay you 17 bucks for a job that should really be 25 bucks while charging 9000 dollars for a 2005 used prius that should go for no more than 4000. It doesn't make sense, unless you realize they're just stupid old spoiled brats who never had to learn to be competitive.

This also filters down to millennial 'businessmen' too, the kinds of people who sell chink shit on Amazon. I always see reasonably priced shit sell out immediately, leaving people selling for 2-3 times what it's actually worth, because people think "oh everyone is listing it for 400 bucks, so I'll do that too!" but it's only worth 170 bucks.

If you aren't moving inventory, then cut your prices.
>but I would make more money/take a loss!
If your whole business goes under and your merchandise gets repossessed you will be a lot worse off, but I guess boomers will just die in poverty when they're 89. Lol.

The bottom fell out of the market in Feb 2022, after a historic bull run. It's been a steady decline since then with signs of improvement since Spring of this year. You niggers don't have memories longer than a week and half of you were under 18 at the time, so there's no way you could have been posting, as per the rules.

Real estate is as tightly controlled from the top as oil or coal, your "crash" is going to be 5-15% that desperately needed to go down in the short term.

No FR86s/BRZs for sale new in the whole country (yes, maybe you can find 5, that will turn out to be not there if you fly out). Civic Type R going for 10-15k over MSRP. Etc.

Definitely not the end of the car market yet. It's actually over when you are getting desirable cars for a few grand under MSRP. We are nowhere near that.
