Candles being painted by insiders who control the market to prepare for a future cycle taking off in 2024-2025. They need to truly fool the public that the cycle is repeating 1:1 exact as before and that Bitcoin will be 120k in 2025. We are all at a wonderful beach where the champagne sparkles in every glass and soft laughter falls upon the summer air and our cute bikinis. We know, by the rules, that at some moment, the darkskinned pumplord will come jumping out of the water, making KDA go BOOM and splash water on our hot bodies. Those who leave early are lost, but the beach is getting so hot that everyone needs to apply sunscreen on each other to avoid sunburn, so that everyone keeps asking “Can you rub sunscreen on my back? Can anyone rub sunscreen on my back?" but there was no sunscreen.

I cannot think or comprehend of anything more cucked than paying taxes on crypto profits. Honestly, think about it rationally. You are working and saving money for years while researching cryptocurrencies solely so the government can go and take a share of your profits. All the hard work you put into your beautiful little kadonies - watching AMAs, researching competitors, making sure you only buy the dips, keeping your coins safe, looking into wallets. All of it has one simple result: your government will have more profits that it can take from you. Bought the perfect coin? Great. Who benefits? If you're lucky, a government that has no incentive to spend funds efficiently. They get to do with your money what they like. They get to benefit from all the work that came from the way you invested. As a man who pays taxes, you are LITERALLY dedicating at least 5 years of your life simply to make money for the government to waste. It is the ULTIMATE AND FINAL cuck. Think about it logically.

Well that isn't good.If the one given by them was a public key address, but without a k, they should have access to it in practice. If it wasn't a public k as an address with k: in front then the coins are done for, but I'm not sure if most wallets would even allow sending to a k: address that isn't also a public key after k:.What does the address look like is the question.

Asian Men are the TOUGHEST People Ever! And I ain't exaggerating! It's the fucking truth! Despite all the constant bullshit that we have to go through in society from the negative (and often false) portrayals and stereotypes that are perpetuated by Western media to stigmatize Asian males; to the countless Asian females who continue to dump on us and slander us with lies; to the jealous privileged racist White males who do everything to mock and belittle us in an attempt to derail our eventual success of overthrowing the White male power structure, Asian males are STILL the MOST SUCCESSFUL minority group ever! We're the HIGHEST income earners (with AMWF couples earning the most income out of all interracial couples). Asian males have held almost every government position in American history (mayor, governor, senator, congress, etc.), we dominate the academic fields, the business fields, the science and technology fields with a growing number of Asian men joining the military and sports. And despite Hollywood being a breeding ground for anti-straight Asian male sentiment, many straight Asian males have had successful careers as actors, producers, and directors. No other group in history has had to overcome this much social stigmas/obstacles and still be very successful at the same time. Think about it, Asian males are the only group who DON'T benefit from affirmative action or from some kind of social privilege status. It's basically us against the world! Whites have their White Privilege thing going on. Asian women benefit from Asian Female Privilege, affirmative action, and many times marry Whites and Jews in order to climb the social ladder. Other minorities like Blacks and Hispanics can't succeed without some form of affirmative action or government assistance. If all these groups had to go through what Asian males went through, none off them would last a fucking second! That's why Asian men are the toughest people

Makes no sense because I think you can read and care enough about tech to be able understand what the goals are. Alepium is not sharded, it's a dag with pseudo shards, none of the benefits of sharding, might as well buy near that one at least has some interesting points to make. Nexa on the other hand is a total joke made by out of touch boomers using technology that was rejected by the greater crypto community years ago, Graphene? you're shitting me anon. What's the point in being fake, say you like lines going up and buy greater fool meme coins where people may fall for buzzwords while you can swoop in and steal their money, seems fine to me, efficient market and all but to try pretend like you care is weird.
I can't hold something I fundamentally dislike, and I do like PoW coins, a lot. The fact that on a PoS I need to think about who runs the nodes and if they will let my tx through is retarded. It doesn't FEEL like a decentralized network, sending a tx on eth does not give me the same kind of enjoyment that it used to, but sending a btc tx is still hilarious, just knowing that powerful computing hardware had to be used to brute force hashes so my tx can happen regardless of the government not wanting it to happen is some of the funniest shit I've ever fucking seen. Having the ability to incentivize miners through increased tx fees to ensure the inclusion of my transactions in a block, powerful! So why do I not like alternative or lesser PoW's, to put it bluntly It takes away from better projects. I don't see how they improve on what I hold now which makes me not care. There will always be some guy in a garage working on a cardboard car trying to sell it to people hoping they won't try drive it, I don't see what those projects have to do in a thread about serious attempts at something as utterly hilarious as a scalable SC layer. Hope all that didn't sound too autistic.

They did not lend me the money, they did not help in picking my investments, I get that if I want to employ people in the country I would have to pay a tax for doing so, I get that if I want to buy a product in your country I have to pay a tax, I get all that but, investments? >>55511864I do, I'm essentially saying it's not good enough, there is no trade off I've seen that seems worth it to me >the disadvantage is that you have to track way more chains than in chainwebIf we want to talk disadvantages, Alephium has its fair shares, the fact you are even able to track all the chains in chainweb in a manner that scales is the real innovation here I'm not sure how often I've tried to explain that. There are nuances to the discussion that you can in fact run N amount of chains you need which increases node decentralization in a way that makes chainweb viable. But the real key here is true scalability by allowing you to run the whole network at all. >about 15k tps just fineIf I had to guess it would probably be same as solana's ~2k tps but both of our guesses are worthless anyway. >you don't know what it isWell anon I'm not sure whose fault it is when even the whitepaper was not able to make it clear enough. Alephium's approach to sharding is different from traditional sharding mechanisms. In traditional sharding, each shard operates somewhat independently and users can often choose to run a specific shard on their local node. And from the Alephium paper, it's not clear whether users have this level of control over which shards they interact with. also the paper does not provide details on how this would work in practice, including how a user could set up a full node cluster, how the network topology is shared with other nodes, or how the number of groups (G) is adjusted over time. >>55506189>one chainI don't see how that stops you from running only one?>confirmation time is lowerUnsure what quote you're talking about but if it's the ama then accepting lower and higher conf times depending on value of operation. >>55512569no they did 10k tps in testnet with low node requirements (essentially raspberrypi nodes), it's not some wild claim like kadena's 400k tps which was on L2 it's tried and testedthe whitepaper is very easy to read, too. i guess it's cheng who wrote it years back so the english is very slightly broken sometimes and it's not up to date (kadena's isn't either) but blockflow was the main thing i'm referring to and it's clearly explained in there. i'm 100% certain you didn't read itthe second part of your post ; since you have to validate all the connected chains (= d, degree of current state of chainweb) you have to validate d + 1 chains in totalyou also need to wait for blocks to complete on other chains to generate your new block, so this makes confirmation times worse on kadenain general kadena obviously doesn't scale the way you claim it does, since to increase the number of chains you'd either have to increase the number of hops drastically or increase the degree of the graph as you scale, which has a significant impact on conf times and the number of chains you need to validate(all explained in Shai's google doc share on his twitter)

The paper does not specify how the number of groups (G) is determined or whether it can change over time. This is a key parameter in the system, as it determines the number of shards and affects the system's scalability and performance.2. paper does not provide details on how shards are created, managed, or potentially removed. It also does not explicitly state whether a user can choose to run a specific shard on their local node.3. it does not provide details on how this algorithm works or how it interacts with the sharding mechanism and the BlockFlow system.4. does not discuss potential security risks or how they are mitigated. This is an important aspect of any blockchain system.>since you have to validateI never said validate, you're talking about mining and I am talking about running nodes. >you also need to wait for blocks to complete on other chainsUsually it's around the same time as the chain you're on >you'd either have to increase the number of hopsThe horror of having 7 hops, how do we cope with just 1M tps

>>55513597here he's talking about confirmation in the context of a minority hashrate attacker, but in the broad sense ('how much does a confirmation say about the hashrate distribution')it is not the same as confirmation in the strict sense of "there's a block following it" which is slowed down in kadena's case>The more chains you can sample from means you don't have to wait on one chain, am I wrong?sorry but you really genuinely have no clue what you're talking about and taking basic blockchain lessons would do you some goodthe fact you don't even know that a node validates transactions is as painful as it gets
>>55513667>I like the parts where he mentions hardware requirements as if it was not a good thing.obviously you want low hardware requirements to make the blockchain more accessible for anyone, e.g. a merchant would rather not buy a solana type node just to get some sovereignty in return
>>55513686>it is not the sameIf I can trust a smaller number of chains to be correct then I can have lower conf times, is that wrong? Or is the fact that the block is lagging behind leading to the whole network not being able to move forward to the next block? That would be a little more troubling but the guy is talking about tx times in his blogpost. >You're retardedSure but the miner validates the transactions and nodes verify that it's correct, miners should mine all chains and nodes can run any chain they like. In theory. Here some bullshit devs said in 2021>A full node is centralized service that can be scaled at cloud level, just like any modern global cloud service. Because of that I don't see a benefit of running partial consensus nodes -- at least not for miners. It may make sense for API nodes that only validate blocks for local use, but don't fully participate in consensus.>>55513699The point is that at that point you would be making 1M tps, it's like complaining about amazon needing so much hardware while missing the revenue generating part about the whole company.
>>55513854>If I can trust a smaller number of chains to be correct then I can have lower conf timesyeah i think that's right (sampling rate is effectively higher because of all the blocks that are involved like martino says, so for that first confirmation you're not waiting for nothing) shai is the kaspa guy so he's obsessed with confirmation time and i don't think he's been fully honest about sharded approaches, it seems like he's making some theoretical assumptions too (i'm not sure how miners pick a chain when mining on kadena for example)a full node validates/verifies (same thing, it checks if consensus laws are obeyed for every block)if you want a more lightweight node you can consider only 1 chains but you also need to validate the d neighbouring chains to make sure that the hashes that are in the blocks of the chain you're actually interested in are correct (otherwise you'd have to just trust the peers on that)>>55513854ok, but he's talking 3k tps and there's no revenue for running a full node so you disincentivize people from running one if the hardware requirements are too high
>>55513971We're so fucking back bros!>there's no revenue for running a full nodeThat is very incorrect, there is a fuck ton of revenue from running a full node, look at infura. And even if there is not, the fact you earn mining rewards basically means it pays for itself. Running a PoW node always has a pretty damn good reason behind it. And if chainweb grows this directly translates to higher value gain from running the node>(otherwise you'd have to just trust the peers Exactly. I hope I didn't make it sound like a silver bullet, this is always the compromise with chainweb.
>>55514011>there is a fuck ton of revenue from running a full node, look at infura99.9999% of individuals & services won't make money from running a nodeit's a trade-off i guess>I hope I didn't make it sound like a silver bullet, this is always the compromise with chainweb.kek that's not gonna happen, it's not a compromise it's giving up at that point
>>55514067>won't make moneyI mean value, you can make revenue from X which requires you to run a node. Be it a dapp, company, etc. >it's giving upYou're saying it's over?
>>55514082but what requires you to run a node? an explorer website with ads on it?third party custodial service with fees? all edge casesvast majority only get sovereignty in returnyes it's over i bought newer projects because they haven't mooned yet. i need stuff that's hot from the press. preferably with an asian leading it

>>55514336gotta ask one outmeanwhile i need a short-term colombian gf for an extended summer fling
>>55513597The more chains the more overhead for miners that need to change chain more often.100ms ping to receive a new job from pools(not helped by the fact Kadena software chooses jobs randomly instead of in a smart way), miners will spend more time waiting for jobs than mining at 100 chains. It's already way worst then it was when we had 10 chains.
>>55514846You think miners will write their own mining software to maximize profits? Not sure if it's related to mining client or the chain itself, just spitballin
>>55480992Elon proly buying whole anime industry hes been shilling catgirls for past months, either the catgirl waifu robot is coming or i have no idea. Are they ditching dogecoin?Like seriously hes been talking about cats, catgirls, anime, tweeting around anime, in tesla ads there are cats in pictures, in apps, logos. In Shanghai AI conference there was a robot drawing a cat.
I can't hold something I fundamentally dislike, and I do like PoS coins, a lot. The fact that on a PoW I need to think about which governmental subsidies will let my tx through is retarded. It doesn't FEEL like a decentralized network, sending a tx on btc does not give me the same kind of enjoyment that it used to, but sending an avax tx is still hilarious, just knowing that there is no possibility of collusion and it doesn't need permission from the gobmint for electricity subsidies to function is some of the funniest shit I've ever fucking seen. Having the ability to infinitely scale, fully decentralized with sub-second finality and 6 gorillion tps, powerful! So why do I not like alternative or lesser PoS's, to put it bluntly, they're all vaporwave. I don't see how they improve on what I hold now which makes me not care. There will always be some guy in on epstein island working on adrenachrome trying to sell it to people hoping they won't try to inject it. I don't see what those projects have to do in a thread about serious attempts at something, especially when Satoshi Nakamoto literally translates to Central Intelligence in Nipponese, and the original bitcoin was designed to scale.Hope all that didn't sound too autistic.

>>55515589haha yeahow much does a kda miner cost again ?>30% premined shitcoin>can alter emissions as they please>never scaled beyond 20 chains>needed to lie about tps and scalability to market your trannycoin>needed to attach haber to your brand, who isnt even part of the team
>>55515700no they can only alter a fraction of emissions meant to pay for operations, and the last time they changed it they lowered themfor the rest scroll up, we already talked about that>premineyeah yeah because in PoS coins it's better, right?and when the team mines 5-10% of supply whilst their coin is under the radar it's also better, right?
