I am too scared to retire early. Your children are going to be unable to earn any real money so the only thing you can do is make a lot more yourself. I'm the last generation that will make enough money to own multiple houses. My Children will each get a house once they are 18. No bullshit. Having a house at 18 forces you to instantly grow up. I also give each child a dog when they start going to middle school.

Back in my day and it still is working 50+ years is normal. At least you know what a rewarding life will be. Now a days people just expect everything to be handed to them for free. Where is the joy in that? I worked my ass off getting where I am now. Started with simple work but worked my way to the top by just going the extra mile. And now I got a nice median home and a tesla in the garage. Surely i'm not exactly a millionaire, but at least I know what life is.
