Posts like these prove this board is just neets gambling their food allowance on shitcoins, you never had any real world experience. The company went from 2 fulltimers in 2017 to 800+ fulltimers in 2022. And that's not just regular wagies, they had to fill many senior positions and highly qualified dev/finance/compliance jobs, you need a complete HR team for that workload. Hiring processes at that level are quite detailed and not as straight forward as a McDonald's application process. Even after you've chosen a candidate from sometimes hundreds of applicants, you actually have to negotiate a bunch of factors. NDA's, salary, equity options, a billion other things. Then you have 800 people working for you, they get fucking sick, change their vacation plans, have kids, have complaints, want promotions, need training in data security and compliance, have to sign NDA's for new shit, you have to check on them in general, it's not a meme job like it seems in those fake TikToks.
I haven't even mentioned it's an international organization so you have to consider different labor legislation, time zones, international bank transfers for pay, different tax shit, etc etc. Good HR people are incredibly in demand and can either create or solve a lot of problems in a company.

Celsius is dumping 3 million-and-something LINK and converting it into BTC and ETH.
This might not be them since their wallets are generally tagged. But it could be.
Also could be someone with a similar amount frontrunning their dump.
Why are /biz/ linkies so disconnected from crypto overall?

I think at this point Chainlink is officially dead.

Sure people will think "Price fallen 90% it MUST rebound". Thats what people thought after 50% price drop.
Then it dropped another 50% and people thought "surely it can't drop 75% without a rebound."
Then it dropped another 50% and people thought "surely it can't drop 87% without a rebound."
Then it dropped another 50% and people are now thinking "surely it can't drop 93% without a rebound."

And yet there we are, at a round -90%. It's the sound of dying shitcoins. Liquidity is always bottom chasers who think it "can't get much worse", and who all get disappointed when it drops another 50%. Sure it might go up, but so might any other funny dog-coin meme. The question is a (best case) 10x at Chainlink more likely than at Ethereum or Shiba Inu? Neither is it more likely than Ethereum, nor is it capped at 10x in the case of Shiba Inu or any other funny dog coin. Overall this board should just admit that this project has no momentum anymore, whatever momentum it had has been wasted and is not coming back.

There are less volatile assets in crypto too. I can imagine the yields I would get with a million worth of USD leveraged on a Defi protocol.

do you not remember when ETH went down to like $100 after topping at $1400 in 2017? LINK will have a similar expansion once we start getting rate cuts from the Fed. Doesn't matter if the token is needed or used or anything like that.

USDC, DAI and USDT are still worth approx $1 last time I checked, so what's your P? If you've checjed the yields on protocols like Beefy and SpoolFi recently, you'll know they're no where near being meager.

The USDC depeg was a deliberate attack where they cut Circle's tradfi rails and then put a run on USDC, knowing they couldn't clear the exits as their banking services were down over the weekend.
It was a serious and well resourced attempt to kill USDC. It didn't work.

This shows how dissolute you must have been to not understand what has been going on in this sector. Take, for instance, Peaq Network; they have been integrating lately, and the most recent is Tokenized Tesla through their partnership with Eloop One.
