In many cases with those videos it is obvious they have placed the animals in those positions before "rescuing" them. Another trend they copied were the one were people peel of barnacles off turtles where one vietnamese woman constantly rescued the same freshwater turtle in the sea peeling of crap she had glued to his soft shell.
Another classic is those who copy that primitive technology guy.
All this youtube charity is indeed just a profitable venture, none of these folks are altruistic or does it to help improve the situation for their fellow man.
