As for the peer-to-peer node based function, it works just like bittorrent would, using hole punched nat traversing and requires each node to remain online to relay traffic and provide resources to the network.

The design would need to be customized for each installation for best results but to do so doesn't demand any technical skill, just well delivered instructions and procedures.

This was designed from the start to make use of whatever was available to the general public without the need for expensive and exclusive equipment like TNCs, GPS.for TDMA reference or frequency agile radios. This is designed to work with the most ghetto shit available... cobra CB radios, or childrens walkie-talkies (provided they have VOX and audio jacks) if needed
