are you gonna buy when it goes public? i suspect that it will go up for a few days before crashing. only reason they are going public is so the ceo can cash out of this money sink. he ran out of investor money

the stock market is such that the CEO of Reddit could be caught with cp on his computer and yet somehow that would raise the vaue of Reddit stocks.

HOOD, COIN, everything crashes at launch. With the recent reddit drama, you should short this stock (ticker : REDD) when it goes public. It will only paint RED cande at launch.

Those who took installed an astrosurfing pay-to-play scheme on big subreddits squeezed it to the max, but reddit itself never made money and never will.
And now it's dying.

they probably hope that the AI companies are going to be paying them lots of money when they start charging for API usage. those companies will probably just webscrape the data instead of paying though

Not to mention the literal FREE LABOR from moderators. Anyway, it's probably all the bloated shit features they keep adding that nobody asked for and nobody uses. Livestreaming, native pic/video uploading, chat rooms, avatars, etc. Old reddit is very cheap, just text and a few small easily cached images, and images/videos are hosted off site and linked to.
Text is the main value to normal people (looking for discussions/answers about very specific questions or topics), and AI companies developing LLMs anyway. They could easily be profitable if they stripped all that bullshit away and went back to the lightweight older version. But like most leftist companies they have to shove as much shit into their product and hire 1000 useless roasties.

Plebbit missed the IPO bubble last time they were classics beta overthinkers considering preparing and sheit

I guess this time they will hire advisors to time the merciless milking of dumb money udders.
There is no greater fool than someone buying reddit stock so they have exactly one shot

Apparently it was possible to add anyone as mod and the invite would be automatically approved.

But, after removing himself as mod, he still kept the subreddit on despite knowing of its existence,

So, same difference really.

that said, consider how much data reddit has. It's a key input into AI pipelines. Depending on the valuation, it could actually be a good buy. i.e. risking a 100% loss for a potential 50x

I'd rather stack up on my spot bag of Sylo instead of wasting my time on this shit. At least I know what they're building with its decentralization game, and their root network just went live, so it's looking promising.

Kek, that's gonna leave some red stains on your portfolio for sure. I never buy without knowing the partners or the use case. That's why projects like holoride always catch my attention with their solid partnerships. They stand out from the rest as it has created the path for in-car entertainment, no doubt about it.
